Wheelchair Accessible Certified Beach Rental

This home was a dream come true for my childhood friend of 40 years, who finally found a truly wheelchair-accessible, worry-free place to relax and feel at home. Every detail, from the layout to the equipment, made our stay comfortable, stress-free, and incredibly special.The private elevator made it easy and safe for my friend, and the hospital bed she used provided the support and comfort she needed to really rest and enjoy the trip. The mobility-friendly chair by the TV and the rolling shower were huge highlights.Everything about the house was designed to make life easier: wide pathways, thoughtful furniture placement, and accessible features. My friend kept commenting how happy and relieved she was to finally stay somewhere that took her needs seriously, and it truly showed in how relaxed and joyful she was during our stay.The host went above and beyond from start to finish to make sure our stay was smooth, special, and relaxing. Communication was clear and kind, and it was obvious that the host genuinely cared about accessibility and our comfort. Any small question or request was handled quickly and graciously, which made us feel welcomed and supported.This property exceeded every expectation and gave my friend an experience that had been out of reach for far too long. We would return in a heartbeat and are deeply grateful for the memories made here.

Not very clean roaches

This was such a great experience. The home owner had everything there to take care of my husband who is in a wheelchair. This was the first trip we have taken since my husband has been in a wheelchair. It was amazing!

My husband has MS and this was our first big trip. The place was gorgeous. Lorraine had it decorated so cute. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so close to everything and my husband was overjoyed to be able to go to the beach with the beach wheelchair they provided. The tiled bathroom was not only beautiful but so convenient.

My husband uses a wheelchair so this stay was perfect for Access and accessibility. We have friends who live in the area however their houses inaccessible to those with Mobility needs so this provided a great opportunity for us to have a place to stay while still touring around Carolina beach and Wilmington

Everything was excellent! Super clean! Spacious! The elevator was a lifesaver!

This our 2nd stay on property. It's the perfect place to stay for my husband and I give his recent stroke. The property includes all the safety bars and space needed for wheelchair access. Property is always super clean and you can't beat the location to the beach and local restaurants.

This home was beautiful, fun and functional Our mom is in a wheelchair and this home was absolutely perfect for her. She had everthing she needed. Would definitely recommend. We had a fantastic stay

The property was better than we could have expected. The amenities for disabled guests were above and beyond. All the little touches were exceptional. We very much enjoyed our stay.

2nd floor, elevator and porch were very nice. Accessible bathroom excellent. On the possible suggestions- make the garage accessible all the way to the elevator for minivan, add a built in electric burner or small stove/oven, need more ice trays and/or ice maker, addition of one or two tvs for bedrooms and additional flatware.

For once a place that exceeded our expectations! They said they were accessible and went above and beyond. This was a cozy eclectic home close to everything yet quite far enough away to sit on the porch and enjoy the beach vibe. Everything including beach access was just steps away.

This house is amazing if you have family members that have trouble getting upstairs and into showers and bathrooms the artwork in the house was amazing and the cleanliness of the house was outstanding very comfortable house. Me and my family would stay here again.

The home is close to the beach and a quick drive to many activities, well decorated, clean and completely accessible! The accessible bathroom/shower is a definite highlight of the home. Great place to stay!
