Westcott Bay Waterfront pet friendly home. just minutes from Roche Harbor.

What a wonderful and magical place to stay. The home is well kept and the grounds are beautiful. It's a cozy, warm home. Great place to come back to after venturing around the Island(s) Yet, there is so much to keep you busy at the home that there really isn't much need to leave. Having the Kayaks was awesome. We kayaked in the bay multiple times during our stay. Each time on the kayaks we had multiple stellar seals hanging out with us the entire time. Not just a few, but honestly, probably about 20 of them would pop their heads up and check us out. Very curious of whom and what we were. We had 4 kayaks out and each of us had at least 2 seals tailing us, literally feet from our kayaks. One evening we were out on the water with clear skies, full moon with our seal friends hanging out. Pure magic. I'll never forget that evening, especially for our kiddos. If you enjoy shellfish, there is absolutely no shortage in the waters that surround you. Just prepare to cook it outside due to house rules which we can certainly understand. They are on a sensitive septic system which means even flushable items need to go into trash. Not a big deal for us whatsoever, but for some.. it may be. None of this mattered to us because the home , location, and grounds are priceless. Just messaging with the homeowner you can tell that she's naturally a great host. She responds literally within minute's. We can't think of anything we'd change about our experience, besides maybe a second mirror Lol

Truly exceptional in every way. This treasure far exceeds any written description or pictures. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to return. If this property is available do not hesitate to book. Perfect location to embrace all San Juan island has to offer while feeling like you have your own private little piece of paradise.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this San Juan Island gem! The location right on the beach was incredible, offering stunning views from the house. The property itself is beautiful, with a big, well-maintained yard and easy access to open trails right from the doorstep. We loved having the little dock and kayaks available. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our dog had the time of her life running around the spacious yard. This is a truly special place, and we highly recommend it!

Beautiful property, quiet, peaceful, great fire pit. We used the on-site kayaks to kayak around the bay, really nice! Kitchen is well equipped, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. I think wifi would have helped. We still need to work a little and cellular signal is weak here.

The property was better than described. We enjoyed the peaceful location of the house. Watching the waterfowl on the bay in front of the house was enjoyable.The easy access to the trails in the British Camp area was a plus.

Beautiful setting and stunning home in a quiet neighborhood with all the necessary (and then some) amenities for our 3 friends reunion. One even slept in the cozy guesthouse. Convenient location to all the island historical and natural attractions. Deb was quick to respond to my questions and I look forward to a return trip to Westcott Bay Cabin.

Such a magical place to spend our 15th wedding anniversary! I’d love to say that this place was great but it was so much more than that! We will be returning for sure! Roche Harbor Resort is just around the corner with the Westcott oyster company literally next door makes this property a can’t miss! And did I mention there’s bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards a few short steps away from the waters edge here at the property? Wow is an understatement! The giant windows welcome you from your slumber every morning at daylight! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Lovely property! We had a good stay for a work trip, would be a great spot for vacation.

The grounds were gorgeous, and the views were stunning. I loved warmth of the gas fireplace. All was well organized from the lighted pathway to the wonderful Wescott Bay home to everthing inside. It was a treat to read about the history of San Juan, mapping out the location with interior artwork and then getting out to explore. I hope to return during warmer months to really take advantage of all this place has to offer.

The island is quiet this time of year, but still lovely. The host is super responsive and friendly. Will definitely be back in the future. Cheers!

Deb is the best hostess- She was responsive to all of our questions, This is the third or fourth time we have stayed here during the holidays. We decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed our prime rib-The kitchen is well stocked.

Loved our stay here. Clean, very comfortable accommodations made super cozy with the gas fire and electric heaters in each room. Beautiful setting, even with constant rain (expected weather this time of year). Fantastic location, with easy access to trail to English Camp. Can just imagine how spectacular it would be in summer, too.

Our second stay at Westcott Bay house was just as memorable as our first. It’s such a warm, cozy house during the chilly, late fall season. Everything about the house was exactly as expected, and check-in was exceptionally communicated ahead of our arrival.

Highly recommended for an offseason getaway! We stayed over a gray weekend in November., the house was very cozy and still a lot to see and do. This is a great location, loved being right on the water with great views from the living room even. Property even more impressive than the photos.

The host was communicative and quickly took care of a little issue that arose during our stay. The location was idyllic.

What a lovely week here! From the first email greeting, the host was welcoming. We arrived late to a warm and toasty home nestled in lovely autumn color w the water just a few steps away! Close to great hikes but private enough that I didn’t even need earplugs to sleep! It was clean, has a well-stocked kitchen and made for relaxing! Just what we needed!

We so enjoyed this place! On a couple of rainy afternoons it was so cozy with the fireplace on! We had amazing sunsets! Although we wanted to kayak the weather did not cooperate, but what a cove to kayak in! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were so comfortable. We are planing our return.

I came to the San Juan Islands for a wedding and decided to splurge on a place to stay that wasn’t your ordinary hotel. I did not realize it was as far out of town, however, it was perfect. The view, the house, the beds, the fire pit, long walks, truly it was fantastic. Thank you to our host!!

This place never disappoints. It’s perfect for me and my dog, not too big with lots of grass and privacy, and right next to oysters and trails. Great, friendly, safe neighborhood. And the view is awesome!Thanks also for adding wifi. I liked the excuse of being unplugged, but it also makes things a bit more convenient, especially for remote work.

This is our second visit to this property and has become our favorite vacation rental. The peaceful property has amazing views and lovely grounds that soothe to soul (and give our dog space to run and explore). The house is perfect as well with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen,

We couldn't believe it when we pulled into the driveway...the setting, the view, the privacy--incredible. And Deb is a wonderful host--so thoughtful. The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything has been thought of, including amenities for the dog. Wish I could give this place a thousand stars! My old dog stumbles more than walks anymore, but he LOVED the huge manicured lawn.

Gorgeous, very quiet and private location with a responsive host. The grounds are beautiful and very well landscaped. Perfect for a dog if you bring one. Kitchen is great and there's a nice TV. We used the kayaks which were super fun. Couldn't be better.

We’ve been staying at this property for over 5 years. The setting has a very private and we especially love that we can bring our golden retriever. The kitchen is nicely appointed, views from the dining and living room are spectacular and it’s truly a joy to stay here. Deb, the owner, is quite responsive to all communications and makes being there extra special.

This is our second time staying here and absolutely loved our vacation. The house is close to many parks and beaches which was ideal for our day trips. The deck was a perfect spot to sit back and relax at the end of each day. We hope to stay here again soon!

This is a beautiful property that made for such a special weekend getaway from Seattle. Easy check in and clean home with everything we needed. We especially loved the Wescott Bay hike to English Camp and Bell Point. Saw seals and otters and eagles up close.

Lovely stay at this cozy home with beautiful views and so quiet! Loved the location and seeing seals and enjoying walking along the water on close by trails. The bed was comfy and the fireplace was lovely too. Definitely looking forward to a return visit!

This place is walking distance to hiking trails. I wish the shellfish farm was open, because you can see it from the house! Would have been great to get some fresh oysters! It’s driving distance to shops and the market, but that was the point of our trip - peace and quiet.

I have lived/stayed all over San Juan Island. This is now my favorite location. The house was cozy and welcoming. Just a short walk to connect with English Camp hiking trail. The host was friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying here again next year.

We had 10 wonderful days enjoying our Westport Bay paradise. Dash, our Rhodesian ridgeback, considers this nirvana. Not much rain, sunrise paddling on the Bay, great walks Loved the light amount o of rain

This house was even better than what was portrayed online. The home was so clean. The views, especially at sunset, were spectacular. My 10 year old and I used the kayaks each morning. The proximity to the sculpture park and roche harbor was ideal and friday harbor was still only a 15 minute drive. We hiked at the english camp and ran the roche harbor trials. Host was very responsive before the trip and came to relight a pilot switch about 30 minutes after we contacted her. If we ever make it back out to the San Juan islands, we will be staying here!

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. We love being able to let our dog run around the beautiful yard. The house has everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the evenings by the fire pit watching the seals in the water. Can't wait to return!

We loved this house so much we came back for a second stay. From the house you can walk to Westcott Shellfish Farm and eat at the restaurant or take fresh oysters, mussels, and clams home. You can also walk to English Camp in about 1.25 miles from the front door. Driving in to Roche Harbor for breakfast or groceries takes about 10 minutes. The house itself is quiet, comfortable, clean, warm, private, and has a great view of the bay. The landscaping and outdoor lighting make the property feel well cared for and special. The beach is rocky and mucky at low tide, perfect for shellfish, and a standard PNW experience. We saw otters playing in the water and saw their footprints on the beach and a young fox walking along the road. I anticipate coming back again in the future. Hopefully, we will have time to try it the kayaks next time 🙂 Thanks again!

We had a great time!! What a beautiful setting!! The house was perfect for our stay, our grand~daughter and dog absolutely loved the yard and the beach area, sunsets were beautiful and seeing the local black fox was amazing! Thank you for hosting the communication was great:)

Upon arrival, you are greeted by a picturesque lovely cottage surrounded by well kept grounds with a beautiful view of the water. Inside is warmly decorated, very inviting. The kitchen was well stocked, newer appliances easy to use, large selection of cookware and serveware. Everything was very clean and well kept. The beds were extremely comfortable with the warmest lightweight comforters, and the sheets I thought about bringing home but left for others to enjoy. Westcott shellfish company is not to be missed. We are making plans for a return visit in the Spring. Don’t miss this one!

A lovely place for a vacation. We loved the location, as it was quiet and peaceful. The deck was great for sitting outside, and even though we didn’t have the time to use the bikes or kayaks (visiting family), it was nice to know we could have.

We have stayed here 3 times and look forward to many more visits in the future. It is a beautiful, serene property. Lovely to be able to walk to Westcott Bay Shellfish Company. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit the island.

What a fantastic place to stay on the islands! The home was beautifully appointed, with large windows and amazing views of the water. Everything was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed going for walks on the adjacent land, and found the outdoor space on the property just as nice as the pictures. All the toys were there--just not enough time to use them! Too much to do in the area. Deb was very responsive and super easy to work with. You can't go wrong with this property.

We like this place a lot and Deb is a very attentive host. The only suggestion for improvement we have is the bed in the little cabin is very soft and doesn't really work for the one of us who has a bad back.

My parents came to visit my partner and I for a trip to San Juan Island. This property was perfect for our stay and allowed us the flexibility to relax and cook at home with the ideal location to explore the island as well. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the waterfront view.

Amazing view and beautiful house with everything you could want!

The owner really takes care of this place and it is very welcoming. The furniture inside and out is comfortable so if you need to down time inside you can and still enjoy the view. We appreciates the use of the kayaks. The property is gorgeous

Kyaking and paddle boarding access daily. Spacious deck. Lovely open concept living kitchen area. Kids and Adults all had a blast.
