West Virginia Home w/ Deck on Golf Course

The check in process did not go well. I had to call and then be on hold in order to get the codes for check in. It was a cold day and the house was cold. The ADT thermostat only allowed us limited control of the heat. The gas fire places were not operable. It was 58 degrees in the basement sleeping areas. I texted the owner and never received any response about the heat. No offer to help. We had mice. They got into some of our food. We set traps in the kitchen and killed four mice over the two days. We left the traps there hoping they would find more. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers and in one of the beds downstairs. There were ants. We sprayed and wiped for ants each day. The owners need to invest in an exterminator service. It took a while to figure out the tv. Things were unplugged and there were not any good instructions. After that it was fine.The downstairs bathroom toilet does not flush well. Needs replaced. The fan in the downstairs bathroom didn't work. Over all it was my worst VRBO experience, and I have had many.

Outstanding property. The cleaning crew let the owner down a bit prior to our stay but nothing unacceptable, just not what we expected. We had a plumbing issue during our stay which in the end revealed a lot about the owners/managers in that they were on the issue immediately and potentially big issue was dealt with in half a day. I would stay here again just based on how they handled that. You can relax knowing that if you run into a problem with the property, they will address it with the least possible interference to your vacation....and, it's a great house with a good view and, put simply, it just works.

This was a clean, comfortable, roomy home in a quiet neighborhood.

It was great with the exception that the propane tank is empty. So we had to replan some meals. Otherwise a great weekend.

The property was out dated and the rooms in the basementwe covered in mice droppings.

Enough space for nine of us—four kids and five adults. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and outdoor grill. Beds were comfortable especially in the primary bedroom with electric dual adjustments. Rooms are good sized.

This house worked out great for our family of 8. Was hot and muggy outside but nice and cool inside. The first floor family and dining rooms were a great gathering place for our family.

Very well kept and spacious unit located on the Woods Golf Course. Owner was very responsive and helpful to our needs.

The house was just as advertised. Very clean and inviting. The basement bedroom is perfect for kids.

The house was a good size. The location was beautiful however when I booked this house I was not made aware that it was 13 miles uphill and around very sharp curves to the mountain. This info would have been helpful when deciding on a Vrbo. The home was comfortable but the overall cleanliness needs improving. Some of the bed comforters downstairs had stains on them that appeared either to be blood or rust? The driveway to the home was gravel road and full of deep crevices that were a safety issue for us older women.
