This house is super cute. Very clean and comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen equipment. We really appreciated the bottle of wine. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The house is located in a really cool spot right on the beach and was clean and cozy, and had everything you would need or want for your stay. We had never been to Whidbey Island before and really enjoyed it.

I liked that it was right on the beach. There was nothing I did not like!

We loved this home, it was perfect for 4 of us! A bonus was how well the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and a full cupboard of spices, another full cupboard of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and apple cider! Even several condiments were included in the refrigerator! Plenty of plastic bags, foil, saran wrap, trash bags and everything we needed. So many times we have to purchase these and only use a couple. So we loved all these extras in the kitchen. The view was absolutely beautiful and it was great to walk out on the rocky beach when the tide was out. Very simple to drive to and was able to explore the island while we were there.Scott was great at communicating and responding to my messages very quickly. We highly recommend this home and will stay here again if we are in the area.

We've stayed here several times and it's been wonderful every time. Very clean, beautiful views, and lots of peace and quiet.

We loved our time there. Specially having the water so close to the house was relaxing and wonderful. The kitchen stove was not easy to handle with the Microwave sticking out so much. Also we are soft sleeper and had to adjust to the harder mattress.Otherwise was ist pretty much perfect. Thanks we would come back.

This place was beautiful, clean and well stocked! Perfect for spring break. We saw ducks, whales and sea lions right from the dining room table!! We had wonderful weather! Recommended to a bunch of friends!

Beautiful location with resort like views of water. Very comfortable interior with many plugs available for your electronics. Plus a great TV for living area. Just steps away from Joseph Whidbey park with multi trails adjacent to shore and in forest. Oak Harbor restaurants just a short drive away.

Loved everything from the view, amenities, and kitchen was great for cooking!

Completely enjoyed our stay and the serenity of the location. The host was wonderful to communicate with and we will definitely be back. The only thing we would have loved is for the checkout time to be changed to 12 pm.

Great place to stay: super clean and right on the water with a great view of the mountains. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom has an amazing shower. Would love to stay there again.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The place was decorated so tastefully and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the bathroom…especially the walk-in shower. The kitchen was well appointed and enjoyed the complementary bottle of bubbly while watching the sunset from the porch. Everything was just perfect including the communication from the host.

This was a fantastic place to stay and explore Whidbey Island! The house is stocked with most everything you could think of.The view and the beach were incredible. We hope to be back soon!

We were very pleased with everything. We only wish the windows had been washed as stated and I wouldn't have about me washing th windows vs sitting with the family.

It was a perfect little get away for my wife and I. We were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary. we had nice walks on the beach and was able to watch the sunsets every night. I would stay at the West Beach Retreat again.

Was above and beyond our expectations for a family celebration for our sons 21st birthday. Panoramic view of the ocean .we will be back for sure Scott the host was very attentive

Thoroughly enjoyed stay8ng here. Saw much of the island, along with the tulip festival. House was amazing!

This beach house was just as described. We were pleasantly pleased with the proximity to the waterfront, neighborhood, decor and ability to comfortably relax.

We recently stayed here, and it is a very clean, quiet, and well stocked property. There is a well stocked pantry with various spices, oils, and other food stuff that has been left by previous guests. I would definitely check the cupboards before you go shopping.The back deck is literally 20 feet from the water and you'll be treated to sea life and wonderful sunsets.The beds were great and we were well rested when we left.Definitely coming back.

This is probably our 5th stay at West Beach Retreat! WBR has always been most inviting, clean and peaceful. We love walking the beach at low tide and love 'taking in' the waves at high tide. Our young adult daughters love to think of it as their very own vacation home:) Thank you Scott for sharing your beautiful property. Many memories made!!

Everything about this stay was so relaxing - having the ocean in your actual backyard is magical! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and so well appointed. We got a windy and stormy day, and it was so nice to curl up and listen to and watch the stormy seas while being nice and cozy. We would definitely look forward to another stay, we wished we had more time!

The property had everything we needed. The decor was peaceful and appealing. The house is so close to the water. We spent several hours just looking at birds and gazing at the beach and water. There are plenty of places to visit on Whidbey Island. I could have stayed another week. We hope to stay here again.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful gals getaway for 2 nights at this outstanding beach house on the west side of Whidbey Island. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, 2 very comfortable bedrooms, newly remodeled bathroom with 2 sinks and huge shower, and living room/dining room furniture all in a updated beachy design for total comfort and relaxation. Beautiful sunsets over the Olympic Mountain range, beach walks in both directions right outside your front door, ducks, shorebirds, eagles, blue herons...This is the perfect spot! We would definitely come back here to stay again in the future.

We love West Beach Road and this house was perfect for our stay. SUPER clean house. VERY well stocked kitchen. LOVED all the candles and the wood stove. We’ll be back!!

This is a 5 star stay, our favorite escape from city life. Almost want to keep it a secret. The cleanliness of the house, the abundance of amenities, the view, the location, everything about this place makes the perfect place for our small family to spend a few nights when school’s out. We will be coming back many times in the future.

We stayed there for a few days on a mini honeymoon. The waves breaking 5 feet from the patio is absolutely amazing. The house is fully stocked and extremely clean. We will be back for sure.
