Just wish there were more food options close by for walking to. Maybe food trucks could be brought to the resort on a rotating basis??

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a comfortable stay at Whiskey Business, the Lookout is close to town, the pool and hot tub were right outside our back patio. Having two bedrooms with on suite bathrooms was perfect and a complete bath downstairs as well made it very comfortable for 2 couples. If you plan to do a lot of cooking the kitchen is a bit tight although completely stocked with everything you need. Also it was dog friendly ;) So we would definitely rent it again.

The home is perfectly located within The Lookout community, giving us easy access to everything we love—just steps to the pool out the back door, a short walk to the lake, and endless daily activities for all ages. The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying the lake, or exploring the area, Whiskey Business was the perfect base for our trip. We can’t wait to come back!

The location was great - right next to the pool and also convenient parking right outside our door. The covered patio was perfect for gatherings and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. The house itself was comfortable and a good size for 2 adults and an infant. Only two minor suggestions for improvement: It would be helpful to have shampoo/body wash in all 3 bathrooms (we only found them in the downstairs one). Additionally, the uncovered top of the bedroom windows let in quite a bit of light. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. The Lookout is such a great family vacation spot!

Stay was good. Picture does not represent property. Maybe looked like that when first built but cover photo no longer represents property or surroundings. Also, booking directly at Lookout would have saved us almost 400. Only noticed immediately after booking but it was nonrefundable. I got a receipt from the lookout after booking, and it was for far less than what we paid. And then I got a separate receipt from VRBO for the difference as a booking fee. Kinda silly!

Property is quite nice, near pool and hot tub, outdoor space has an electric heater in ceiling. Perfect weekend place for a family of three.

We loved our stay at this home. No need to pack too many things. Kitchen has everything as well as the bedrooms. We had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to come back on Summer time.
