Check in was easy. The caretaker was prompt on answering questions. The whole house was awesome. Definitely recommend.

Nice getaway for the family. We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen nicely stocked. Remodeling downstairs isn't complete but did not affect our stay. Beautiful views. Driveway is narrow so make sure you can back your vehicle in.

Great clean home close to town, perfect for our family of 4 plus two dogs for the week.

The family and i had a great stay at Chickadee Nest. Very roomy with all the accommodations. Pool table was awesome and super comfy beds. Hope to book it again on our next trip to Franklin.

There was 8 of us ladies ranging from 25 to 83. My sisters and i take our mother on a vacation trip to mountains every year. This year we stayed at The Chicadee. The place was great met all of our needs. We did have an issue with the washing machine and had to run to the laundromat to wash towels. Talked to Mandee who was very helpful and apologetic. We rode the train at the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad and had a great time. Highly recommended. Also some of our group went white water rafting, did some shopping and exploring. Had a blast and highly recommend The Chicadee as a place to stay..

Comfortable and in a quiet rural setting.

We loved our stay here! Cabin was clean, spacious and well stocked. Owner was very easy to work with, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to be close to town but still have a nice view.

The cabin is great Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The popcorn bar and numerous seasonings were a big hit with everyone. The cabin is laid out so Kids can have the downstairs area With board games, Television, play area with plenty of toys and A private hot tub overlooking the beautiful mountains. We visited waterfalls, fish for trout, cooked on the outside grills And visited a local area that had swimming, outdoor games and a huge pond loaded with trout. Plenty of room for parking and a very private location and it was dog friendly. This is probably the best cabin we have ever stayed at in the mountains. I would highly recommend this cabin for families traveling with children or just adults. The upstairs porch has beautiful views and was a great place to play cards in the evenings and have our coffee first thing in the morning!!
