Second stay at this wonderful lodge. Kids and grandkids all had a great time together. So much to do there that you need not leave the property. Owners have gone to great length to make this place special!
Everything about this property is wonderful. There is so much to do and the lodge is huge and beautifully decorated. The driveway was a little scary the first time up but not quite so after that initial time. I don’t advise you to attempt it the first time in the dark. Can’t think of anything negative to say about this property. The Mountain Views were amazing and especially in the morning with the fog. We all had a fantastic mountain vacation and would love to come back again sometime.
First and foremost the beds are super comfortable. The entire family commented on good sleeping. All activities pictured in the house were great. The host was super fast with communication and we even explored the mine. Great Kitchen, grill, etc. Highly recommend this place. The best part is that the owners use this place which usually means it has all the little things you need. The pictures don't do it justice.
We really enjoyed our week at the Lodge. The Lodge is comfortable and well-equipped, and we took advantage of all of the amenities (air hockey, foosball, hot tub, fire pits, tetherball, sand court, trails, etc). There ended up being 11 of us, and we never felt cramped given the large great room, finished basement and beautiful loft. We used the wall of bunks, which worked well for us as we had some working remotely and needing the privacy of the bedrooms. Internet also worked fine, allowing remote work for 2 for a couple of days. Plenty to do in the area as well, and every trip out leads you through beautiful mountains and valleys. The Lodge is located within an easy drive of Franklin for groceries, churches and anything you might need. Driveway is steep and gravel, but well-maintained. Our loaded FWD minivan handled it with no issues. And the drive up the mountain helps set the stage for the peace and privacy you will find at the Lodge. Communication and hospitality from owner was excellent. Note that some of the play equipment has a 100lb weight limit, but the kids that were under that really enjoyed the zipline and swings. Truly a great place to recharge with family and soak in the beauty of God's creation. Great way to start the summer!
We decided to rent a home for Spring break that would allow us to completely relax, play games, and hike straight off the property. This home was perfect for us and even better than expected! Thank you for providing exactly what we wanted! Everyone had a great time and not a single complaint was heard from any of our four kids (aged 16-10) during the entire trip --- that is saying something!
The house was perfect for a large group of people! There were tons of things to do and kept everyone busy for the week stay. We never ran out of hot water and had 19 people using it, super plus for me. Communication with the owner was quick but only needed for early check in request ;) Would stay again and would recommend to anyone else looking to stay!
We had a wonderful time at The Lodge! From the game room to the fire pit, the jacuzzi, the endless outdoor activities, the two living rooms (one with full gaming selections) to the wall in showers, jetted tub to the super comfortable beds and the two balconies, all of it! The decor was beautiful. Every single thing about the place was inviting and completely intentional. No details were missed! The kids truly enjoyed the s’mores by the fire pit. We enjoyed the views and all the extra love put into the cabin and the surround grounds. When I say nothing was forgotten, I mean nothing was forgotten. This cabin was all inclusive with every needed item, every cozy blanket, every type of pillow, even a yummy ice making machine! We also enjoyed reading the never ending story book and all the fun signs around the cabin and just simply being together with family and friends in such an amazing place. Highly recommend this cabin to others. Great vacation!
We had a group of 16 and had the best week! Everyone was in awe at how much there was to do on the property. Loved the fire pit areas, had many laughs around the fires. The hot tub got used regularly. We cooked meals 6 out of the 7 nights we stayed and always had everything we needed. All the beds were comfy. So many games and entertainment. We had some runners try the Beasley Challenge and I sent their times to the owner, who is very responsive. We didn’t want to leave!
Our stay at the Lodge at Beasley Mine was nothing short of amazing. This cabin quite literally has it all....better than it appears in the photos. Boredom was non-existent....even for hard to please kids. The abandoned mines were such a cool added bonus that the kids and adults kept venturing back in. Huge fire pits, awesome swing (a fav of the kids), big hot tub, relaxing hammock, giant rec room, and an unbeatable view. Kitchen was well appointed, house was clean, check in was easy, and the owner was easy to communicate with. This is an exceptional property- definitely don't pass it up!
There were 8 adults and 6 children. Age ranges from 3 to 65. Something for everyone to do either inside or outside. Lots of stairs outside that may limit activity for elderly. Cozy and well decorated inside with everything you needed to prepare meals. We were there a week and never ate out once! Definitely need to take the walk up to the mines. Bring flashlights or head lamps and a fluorescent flashlight is great for gem mining! This place is great for the lovers of the outdoors!
15 people. Multiple families. Well appointed home with many great memories. Thanks for having us again.
Great home with an incredible location to explore. Perfect for families and great communication from the owner.
The road up was a challenge on motorcycles, but my group had no problems. Inexperienced riders should park at the bottom and drive up in car/truck.
The house is fantastic; the location is perfect for connecting with nature and completely disconnecting from the daily hustle. Lots of activities for the kids and adults; the fire pits are very cool and perfect during this time of the year to be outside and enjoy nature. Ricky is a great host. The process was very organized and clear. We'll definitely come back.
