Stayed Oct 19, 2025Very comfortable place to stay at an idea location for seeing the fall foliage in Maine. We also appreciate the very welcoming accommodations for our dog! In addition, Andrea, the host, provided great communications throughout our reservation process and stay. Thanks!

Stayed Jul 27, 2025My friend and our families had an absolutely wonderful stay at Heav'nsent. This beautiful, comfortable family home had everything we needed and then some. Our indoors-loving, screen-adept kids were drawn outside immediately and spent the week soaking up as much dock and lake time as they possibly could.Tip: Even though our vacation took us around Maine a little, we ended up enjoying the time we spent kayaking and swimming in the lake and exploring closer to home a little. (Moose Creek State Park and the local restaurants were hits!)

Stayed Jul 18, 2025This is my second year here and it is perfect for me, my dog, and a friend and their dog. We do an early morning drive with the dogs to bust out the five mile Belfast Rail Trail, then paddle and have fun in the sun. Heav’n Sent has everything we need and more and I hope to go back next year. The questions I had for Andrea were answered swiftly and well. We spent a bit of time in Belfast this year and I highly recommend Young’s for lobster and steamers, and Vinolio for wine and oyster tasting! As a note the neighbor does have a large Shepherd, but they are incredibly considerate. We only saw the dog on his deck, and met him once when we were both walking. A non-issue.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025Our family loved the house and location. We had been in it a few years before for a couple of hours when another family member rented it. We grew up in the area, graduated from Searsport High and now just come back for summer visits. We own rental properties ourselves so appreciate how well appointed this property is and how easy everything in the process works. The neighbors do have a large dog that could potentially be a problem when you bring your own pets and small children. However, the owners were understanding of our situation and we all made it work. They kept their dog inside when we were out. We will definitely keep this house on our “yes” list

Stayed Jul 21, 2024Andrea’s house was amazing. My wife said she wanted to stay forever when she first walked in! The view of the lake again….amazing! The house was roomy and clean! We traveled to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The trip was a tad long (about 1 hr to both places), but worth the drive to get away from the hustle and bustle and to enjoy the atmosphere at the house! Andrea was easy to communicate with and to work with! She helped us add another night to our stay! If ever in Maine again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! John L and family.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024My friend and I have been staying on lakes in Maine for a few years. I’m from the northern coast of Massachusetts where the biting flies (greenheads) are so intense I have to get away. This year we decided to bring our dogs. It was a perfect relaxing trip. We started every day by going down to the Belfast Rail Trail and putting in about 5 miles to tire the dogs out. We both brought our paddleboards and spent the rest of the day swimming, paddling, lounging, and doing it all again. The kitchen was the best outfitted of anywhere I’ve stayed. The one meal we didn’t cook we brought in from Young’s, which was fantastic and more affordable than at home. The sun bakes in the windows in the afternoon so we quickly learned to pull the shades and put the A/C on 74 to keep it from getting too hot. We only saw glimpses of the dog next door, so he was not an issue at all. Andrea had absolutely thought of and provided everything. While we left the house clean, the check out process was so easy. I’ve stayed other places that required me to deep clean before I left, and I appreciated not having to stress about that. We even had Roku and watched movies at night. Other places I’ve stayed have barely had a working TV. The lake is clean, and there are just a few jetskis during the week, and it is otherwise quite quiet. Great stay, great host, great location. I’d like to go back next week, and next year.
