The cabin was very clean cozy. If you want to watch TV there is none. I was happy to disconnect but missed that while booking the weekend getaway.

WOW! best describes this beautiful place. John and Barbara are the very best host and hostess. They met us upon arrival and that initial meeting made us friends. The property is just beautiful and so well maintained. There was not anything that you would need in a cabin that was not there. They even provided choices in the coffee you could make. It was so peaceful there and so inviting. Even their two puppies were friendly and so well behaved. You are just a short distance from town if you would want to leave long enough to go there. I would recommend this place to anyone for that get-a-way you just need sometime.

It's our third time there and as always John and Barbara are great hosts. For those with pets please be careful as the cabin is near a roadway. Early on our second day, our Yorkies accidentally got out and headed for that road during the morning traffic. One made it back and the other didn't make it. The driver who hit her stopped and expressed her grief that she hit our dog. A gentleman who witnessed it, stopped the traffic and retrieved our dog (who had died instantly on impact). It wasn't the lady's fault; it was ours for losing control of the dogs. John and Barbara were kind enough to help us find a Vet to take care of our deceased Yorkie. Please be very, very careful if you bring pets. They don't know any better and it's a new place for them to explore, but they need strict control or a tragedy like ours can happen. The rest of the week went much better as we processed our grief and we enjoyed the remainder of our stay with our other Yorkie. Thanks again to our hosts.

The cottage was perfect for my dog and I. The directions on the cottage, what was there, where things were, request when checking out were perfect. It was spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated. They also provided local pamphlets and maps of activities, restaurants and tourist places to go. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming along with their two dogs.

Everything was great ... the cabin is both adorable and functional. The property was pet friendly and everything was 'as advertised.'

This is my third time staying at the Cozy Cabin. I really appreciate that the hosts are on the property, it makes me feel safe and I know if anything goes wrong I can call or text. The cabin was clean, tidy, and well kept—per usual. I really like the lock on the cabin and the blinds for privacy. I like spending quiet time away from home so no TV is a plus. The hosts are friendly and helpful but they keep to themselves unless I had inquiries. The cabin is only 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store and pharmacy, and places to visit (Belfast waterfront, Moose Point State Park, and Stone Fox Creamery is only 20 minutes away.

This was our third time staying at the cozy cabin. Always a great experience. We appreciate the coffee that is provided by the host and Weavers across the street is perfect for any food, drink or supplies that you may need. Will definitely stay again.

Nice location, quiet.

It was clean, cozy, warm and had everything we needed! The host had good suggestions for where to eat and things to do in the area. The location was perfect for being a quiet place. The first night there we could see the clear sky and every star in the sky.

John, Barbara, Maisey and Molly; we thank you for another great relaxing and peaceful week at the Cozy Cabin.We enjoyed walking the harbor and resting on the swings to watch the boats entering and leaving the harbor. Having lobster at Young’s and chowder at Front Street Pub were our favorite go to for late lunches. Our dog loved to go to Belfasts dog park and Belfast City Park. We enjoyed the cabin! The kitchen had everything we needed. It was fun exploring the area, and thanks to the hosts for the tip on where to go with our paddle boards!

We were so excited to find this little gem that allowed us to bring our fur baby! The owners were so sweet, kind and attentive but also provided plenty of space and private time. They were very accomodating when we asked for an earlier check in. The grounds are beautifly kept. There is a nice wooded area for short dog walks which helped with our pups daily duties. The kitchen was so clean and organized, everything you need. We loved having morning coffee using the french press and electric water kettle for quick water boiling. Being able to have beverages in the swinging chairs was a bonus. The only thing we would change would be a longer stay!

Wonderful clean cabin on a beautiful property! The hosts were warm and kind and had lots of great information about Maine inside the cabin and more than willing to offer advice or answer questions. The area is a great place to vacation in and we would be happy to come back for another stay in the near future.

Another comfortable stay at the cozy cottage. We used it as a base camp and mainly slept there. Good access to Stonington, Acadia and then a day south to New Harbor and Pemaquid exploring our favorite places. Charming little place!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Cozy Cabin. I just wanted to get away for reading and accomplished my goal! I love that there isn’t a TV, but there is WiFi. The fridge is great capacity and the microwave and oven are perfect. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away if you’re like me and just want to stay in. Barbara and John leave a great welcome message. I’ll be staying here again when I want a quiet getaway!

We got into the cottage and John and Barbara stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed and the cottage was warm enough) on a cold chilly February day). Our dogs were welcomed (we brought our own bed cover but they had one available too!). Great location to visit Belfast. The cottage was comfortable with a well supplied kitchen. Wonderful stay!

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful, quiet stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and the wifi was perfect for binge watching our favorite tv shows on our laptop. I hurt my back just as we were leaving to drive the 3 hours from home to the cabin. When we arrived I was still hurting. John gave me a heating pad and ice pack to use, which was very nice and super helpful.

This was our second stay at John and Barbara's Cozy Cabin. We travel from New Hampshire to Maine to visit our elderly aunt and our cousins in Camden a couple times a year. We have 2 dogs, a German Shepherd and a Springer Spaniel who are quite comfortable at this cabin. The hosts, John and Barbara, live in their house further down the driveway. They are down-to-earth friendly and informative about the cabin as well as nearby places to go. The cabin is very well stocked with anything you need to cook (bring your own food). The appliances are great.Overall, we 100% recommend reserving their cabin for your stay.We will be back!Erich and MaryAnn

Sadly, we needed to cancel our stay due to a snowstorm. We have stayed at this cozy in the past and loved staying there with our 2 dogs. This was a perfect place for us! We will request future stays here again for sure!Erich and MaryAnn

The Cozy Cabin was wonderful. The hosts were so nice and helpful. The power went out and they had a generator up and running in no time. Would absolutely stay here again!

John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing.

Nice space, friendly hosts, convenient location

I was looking for something close enough to home, but still feeling like a getaway and this was it! I wanted to get away to somewhere quiet to read for my birthday weekend. The Cozy Cabin was perfect because there wasn’t a TV, but I still felt connected with the available WiFi, just in case. The hosts were non-intrusive and quiet. I read 2.5 books, exceeding my goal! The kitchen had enough amenities to fulfill what I needed, including a fridge and freezer, microwave, a large toaster oven, a coffee pot, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, and cooking utensils. John also told me to reach out if I needed anything for baking or cooking that wasn’t already in the cabin. The bed is comfortable, the right amount of blankets and pillows; the gliders are comfortable as well. There is a side table with an outlet by the bed, which fit my CPAP perfectly. There are two outlets that have two built in USBs each. (Double check the USB outlets by the bed, those did not work but I mentioned it to John and he said they’d look into it.) There are two metal bar stools available for seating at the kitchen counter. There are two cushions for the chairs on the outside porch. I was originally worried about my safety traveling alone, but I felt safe on there property. For those wondering, The Cozy Cabin is about an hour north west from Augusta. It’s 10 minutes away from Belfast, close enough to a lot of attractions, but not right in the city.

So cute and thoughtful stocked. The property is beautiful. Everything you would need was there! We really enjoyed our stay.

This was the most relaxing getaway we have had in a long time. The hosts were so welcoming and very helpful. Our dog and their dogs enjoyed the visit too.
