The house was great. So much charm. The location was amazing!!! The front porch was absolutely wonderful. We loved sitting out there morning and night. Ocean views were the highlight !!!

We have been coming to York beach for 35 years. This home is a lovely comfortable well appointed cottage in a great location. The kitchen is updated. 1.1 miles to Nubble Lighthouse ( a beautiful walk). .6 miles to Short sands and all that has to offer for shops and dining. Stones throw and now Lulu's at the Nevada only a few minute walk for a beautiful cocktail or a delicious meal. The porch is wonderful to people watch and watch the tide come in and out.

We had a wonderful time, the house qas beautiful location was amazing!! Hearing the sounds of the ocean at night was so relaxing.beds were very comfortable .They also provide beach chairs towles,toys and kites that will actuly fly it was wonderful!! 100% would stay here agin

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Brumis Cottage. It’s not often that the actual house is better than the pictures, but it’s true here! There are a lot of beautiful big windows (including four in the main bedroom upstairs). The bathrooms and kitchen are modern, and the woodwork throughout the rest of the house is gorgeous. The house was immaculate and very well cared for. We spent time on the wrap around porch enjoying the ocean view across the street. There are plenty of beach chairs in the basement which we used for a comfortable day at the beach. We had fun with the games in the house (especially the lighthouse matching game!) There was a welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. Salt & Shine was available and responsive to the couple questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend both the house and the rental agency.

My husband and I have been coming to the Brumis Cottage for many years running. Every time we arrive to York Beach, it feels a little like coming home. The cottage is so thoughtfully decorated and invokes many memories of the history of the place but also of our recent memories we've made. We love to cook big meals with our friends in the kitchen, barbeque on the back porch, and drink coffee during lazy mornings looking at the ocean from rocking chairs on the front porch. Having the beach directly across the street is incredible - we leave our shoes on the porch and go back and forth as we see fit! Outside of our beach days, we love exploring the surrounding area, with lots of great hikes and cute restaurants nearby. There is a big Hannefords supermarket within 10 minutes drive, you can walk to the Nubble Lighthouse, and there is a convenience store just 5 minutes walking with anything you need in a pinch. The bedrooms are comfortable and the shower pressure in both showers is great after a long day in the sun. We can't wait to make many more memories in York and come back to the Brumis Cottage again!
