Beautiful, spacious, clean and well stocked home. Gorgeous views of the water - a perfect weekend with family.

Wonderful location, wonderful property and an all around WONDERFUL time! (In case you hadn't guessed, lol.) The house layout was beyond expectations for a multi-generational family group, with everyone able to be with together and yet have enough space to not feel on top of each other. The views from the deck (and living spaces!) were spectacular, and quite a bit of time was spent just sitting and listening to the waves on the shore. The window seat in the library was equally enticing, and the media room allowed the younger kids the ability to feel like they had some space of their own while the adults could supervise and yet also have some peaceful moments. We definitely recommend!

Beautiful views of the beach from the property. We were 4 families altogether with our kids and had a wonderful time. Walks to the beach, lighthouse, ice cream shops and lobster rolls made it very special. A 20 minute drive to Ogunquit as well. ?

Highly recommend this stay for any large group! The house was absolutely gorgeous, as were the views. The location was perfect and we loved being able to walk to the Nubble Lighthouse. I also can’t say enough about the hosts responsiveness. There were massive power outages on the day of our check in and the hosts made sure they were in constant contact and updating us of the status. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a long weekend at Loafin' By the Ocean. There was plenty of space to accommodate five families (kids ages ranged from 1 year old to 14!). The location was great and the neighborhood was quiet (almost felt like no one else lived near by!). We would definitely recommend and would go back in the future! Thanks for a great stay!

The house had every amenity one could ask for (beach chairs, wagons, boogie boards) which saved while packing. The rooms were thoughtfully and tastefully curated, with room to stretch out and not get in each other’s way. We were 9 adults, and 6 children ranging from 5-12, and enjoyed the ample outdoor space along with the roominess of the house. The view over the ocean was more spectacular than the listing pictures, and we spent most of our non-beach time on the cozy deck. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your beautiful home.

This was the best vacation home we have ever rented! It was well appointed with space for all. We had 15 family members and we never felt cramped! There is a library for reading and games with the kids, a small sitting room where video games can be played by bigger kids and a large family room with views of the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room sat us all comfortably. The deck offers plenty of seating with a wrap around sofa. The views of the ocean are spectacular and we saw the rising of the super moon over the ocean that we will never forget. The garage is organized and plenty of receptacles for trash and back-up gas tanks for the grill. Most importantly, the place is immaculate! We thank you Kate and Maura for allowing us to rent your beautiful home! We cannot wait to go back!

Our extended family of 15 had an amazing summer trip/family reunion. The house was so spacious and comfortable, with a variety of lovely gathering areas (including my favorite - a library with reading nook overlooking the ocean). It’s in an great area with a variety of things to do just a short walk or even shorter drive away. I would highly recommend this property.

We were a large family gathering and booked this home for all of the space it provided. We could not have been happier with this beautiful home. Everything was clean, well stocked and the views from most of the rooms of the ocean were fabulous. We were able to walk easily to all of the highlights of York Maine. We highly recommend this home

We had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed the house and its location. One of the few places we've stayed where the photos, while nice, don't actually do it justice. Highly recommended and everything was easy with communication and check-in. Would have been nice to have sheets and towels provided, but we managed.
