Stayed Dec 27, 2023My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was a lot better and bigger than we expected! For our stay, everything was clean. The only note about cleanliness is that while the bedding/towel was clean, it did seem dusty… maybe suggest bringing your own towel / pillows for comfort. Another point was that I struggled to get into contact with the host and didn’t receive any confirmation/check-in details in the days before the booking. The morning of the booking, I only just managed to get into contact with her, in which she didn’t know that we were coming (although everything was ready for us). However! She is really welcoming and pleasant… I believe there is just miscommunication on Vrbo’s part. Her phone number wasn’t available directly on the booking however I asked the help chat for it (although note that this is her personal mobile which she doesn’t have with her all the time & also you MUST CALL). Other than these points e.g. uneasiness with communication in the beginning & somewhat dusty bedding, this spot is well-worth your money. Views are incredible and location is superb - it has everything you need.

Margret gave us a warm welcome, and the house was beautiful, super clean, and had an amazing view. We stayed with our two kids and felt right at home. The location is awesome too—really close to the Paihia beach market, which was super convenient. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to stay in Haruru!

Stayed Feb 4, 2025Beds were super comfy, rooms were spacious and clean, carparking is shared driveway, large big deck with view of water and tress, large lounge and kitchen area. No laundry. Noting that there is a connected door from the owners house to the lounge area, that was always locked and closed. It did not impact on our stay. Highly enjoyed our stay here. Recommended.
