Where do I begin? From the moment my girls and I pulled up, it felt like home. This place is magical. If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and refresh your mind, look no further. The sound of the rushing creek is unbeatable. The home is beyond comfortable and cozy, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We stayed several days and only left once. We didn’t want to leave the day of check out! Lynn is an incredible host, and we truly cannot wait to come back. 10/10!!!

We loved our stay! It was a peaceful home to relax in when we weren’t off hiking or shopping. My kids loved the upstairs loft and exploring the creek. We’d love to return some day!

The owners of this property have considered most every need a traveler might have. We typically hike for miles to reach the view and setting that you have directly from the porches on this property, truly magical. We live in the city where’s it noisy and to be constantly inundated by the sound of the waterfalls was something special. We hope to return to this very comfortable mountain property.

Waters Fall is the most perfect mountain getaway, no matter what time of year. Cozy, rustic yet refined, and perfectly appointed with thoughtful details.

We loved our short trip to Waters Fall! Home has everything we needed for our family of 4. We were lucky enough to get fresh snow and see the beauty of the waterfall with icicles. Location is great— only 30 minutes to beech mountain which has an awesome sledding hill and playground for our young kids. We spent time by the fire each night and enjoyed the sound of the flowing waters. Our kids did not want to leave. Great views for a morning yoga practice. We left a yoga mat for other guests to use. If you’re looking for a magical home in a peaceful beautiful setting, this is the place.

Beautiful location with nearby fun mountain towns. Creek was amazing and we spent hours just enjoying the property.

This place is the bomb! Super cool creekside cabin. It is well furnished, as well as being well stocked. Easy to get to, and only a short drive to Boone. If that weren’t enough, the hostess is fantastic! We had no problems, but I felt if one arose, it would be handled promptly. Scattered neighbors close by genuinely seemed friendly and accommodating. Security was 1st class down by the entrance. I can’t say enough positive things about this home. I plan to stay there again soon.

This is the place to be if the sound of a running creek is music to your soul, like ours! Place was super cute, the community is gorgeous & the location is ideal! Took us just minutes to get to the Blueridge Parkway & all its stunning mountain views and downtown Boone which is a visitor’s paradise. Host was super helpful, kind & quick to respond which made this the ideal mountain getaway for my family. Many thanks for the hospitality & the boots that we used to explore the creek! Would definitely recommend this place! )

This cozy beautiful home exceeded our expectations. The home is clean and well stocked with games, blankets, towels, kitchen tools and anything else you would need for a great mountain weekend. We all enjoyed playing in the creek and the sound of the water allows you to escape the outside world! Being centrally located between Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk made it easy to explore all the high country has to offer. We can't wait to stay here again!

What a hideaway retreat in the mountains! The cabin was clean and basically had everything you could need or want as far as dishes, appliances, and other necessities. I want to say it is cozy but don't mistake that for meaning small or tight as that is not what I am saying. I mean that every space is welcoming and comfortable. The gazebo is amazing, you are surrounded by the sound of water falls and it is really enjoyable. If you want a private getaway nestled in nature, don't miss Waters Fall!

This was one of the most relaxing and amazing places we've stayed at on our travels. It was so very needed after a stressful work year, and we absolutely hated to have to leave. We will be staying here again, and hopefully again, and hopefully again lol.

We are very familiar with the area but never imagined such a cute chalet was tucked back into Hound Ears! It had everything we could need, and the check-in process was seamless; I am not surprised that Waters Fall has so many high reviews. We will be back to stay in Lynn’s beautiful home again soon! The location was ideal, with the patio, screened porch, and such comfortable beds! Can’t wait to return.

This is a very special spot. The river flows beautifully next to the house creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Great outdoor screen porch; this is a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys being outdoors

What a perfect getaway. Waters Fall was just what our family needed to celebrate my son’s graduation from ASU. It is a very unique space and the sound of the waterfalls helps leave all the “busyness” behind. Very peaceful. Lynne was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Our family of 5 had the best stay. The cabin is great. The outdoor space is spectacular. The setting is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. We are definitely hoping to go back for another stay!!!

A lovely, clean and well-cared for cabin in a beautiful setting - our little family truly enjoyed being here. We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. The deck and gazebo are extraordinary, and the creek flowing underneath provided a constant and pleasant natural soundtrack for the stay, day and night. We spent time all through the cabin, and were comfortable everywhere really. On our last night, it snowed starting in the evening, and we had a blast throwing snowballs and later having smores inside by the crackling fire, cozy again. We’re from Florida, so waking up to a blanket of snow on our last morning was truly magical. It’s a sweet spot, and gave us a memorable trip, and Lynn is kind and communicative as a host. We hope to return another time.

Lovely home with beautiful deck and water falls right out the door. So close to lots of quaint little towns, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Boone, Beech Mountain, we relaxed and did jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed good company in a wonderful peaceful environment

Everything about this rental was perfect and the owner was so nice and easy to work with. Great atmosphere, wonderful location, and such a restful experience over all. We will definitely be back!

Great home base for skiing at Sugar! Had everything we needed for our family of 6. Loved the water fall and large deck.

We had a wonderful visit. Even though it rained most of the time we were there, it was actually perfect. The host had strong internet for movie nights and supplied multiple age appropriate games. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and even offered activities in the area that we could do and stay dry. We’re already planning our next visit.

We were so excited to stumble across this cabin on VRBO, and it did not disappoint! Our family of 5 stayed the week of Christmas and enjoyed such a comfortable and cozy stay. Lynn was wonderful to work with, and her cabin has ALL the comforts of home. The Hound Ears Club community is so nice and well-cared for. We felt so safe in the gated community. Lynn's property is one-of-a-kind! We enjoyed the waterfall creek, gas firepit, wood-burning fire place in the living area, and electric fireplace in the upstairs master. Our teenage daughter loved the loft bedroom! It was the perfect place for a winter vacation, and we hope to visit in other seasons.

The cabin was extremely cozy, had everything we could have possibly needed. The outdoor area was so awesome with the waterfall and patio area. It felt very secluded. Such a unique property, it was a favorite destination for all members of the fam!

Our family loved this cabin and the host was very communicative and helpful. Our daughter sat outside and read her book while listening to the waterfall and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace on the chilly nights. The loft was adorable and our daughter felt like a princess in a tower. We were even able to go work out in the community gym. Absolutely love this place and will be returning!

Absolutely a dream vacation rental! We were only approximately 25 minutes from excellent restaurants and drove only 45 minutes to do a cool mountain four wheeler ride with our two sons. Personally loved the detached screened porch with the sound of the creek running underneath. Layout was ideal for us as my husband and I prefer separate beds so one of us had the main level and I slept upstairs with my eight year old in the twin bed in the same room. My 13 year old did not want to come down from the cool loft area with a spiral staircase for privacy. We will be scheduling another visit in the winter.
