Waters Edge Cottage on Big Barbee Lake!

The lake house was very nice. We had a great time. If you want to swim in front of the lake house I would suggest water shoes as it is rocky.

This is our second time at this property, We come for the fishing and this trip DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This cottage is centrally located on Barbee with Kuhn, Little Barbee, Irish and Sechrist right around the corner. Sechrist hides the big bass and we hooked a Muskie by complete accident, We got a great video to last a lifetime. Will definitely be back next year!

Amazing stay, amazing views. First family vacation with the kiddos. Just speechless from the whole thing. Waking up watching sunrise, staying on the patio watching the lake and the sky at night. Breathtaking experience that's one for the books!

This is such a lovely property right on the lake. We loved the large patio and took advantage of the firebowl in the evenings. We also appreciated being able to have our doggies with us. We also like that it's close to two golf courses we enjoy playing.

the key pad didnt work to get in but was able to contact the host and he responded within a min. to let me know how we could get into the house. absolutely love this house and location. this was my second time booking this house and of all the houses i have booked this is by far my favorite :) my mom and dad were with me and they love this house and location as well

Had a little issue checking in with key pad but was quickly taken care of. Home is super clean with all amenities that you could ever need, we completely overpacked not realizing everything that they had. The owner was extremely responsive on the one issue we had and was quick to resolve it. Beautiful location and great area would totally rent here again. Best area of the lake in my opinion and super adorable home that is very well kept.

Nice size rooms. Half bath was tiny, but we were informed ahead of stay. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, cooking utensils, small appliances. Great view. Liked the big front windows.

Nice, clean, great view half bathroom was a quarter bathroom.

The property has an excellent view of the lake and easy lake access. The owner is very responsive.

This is a great place for families. Lots of water toys, place for boat, right on the water! Ralph was the greatest of hosts!

This cottage was super nice, very clean and a perfect little place to get away. It is right on the lake and has a great back patio to just sit and relax while watching the boats. Host was quick and responsive with communication and this place is definitely somewhere to come back to for another visit.

Cute, comfortable, and updated! We loved the proximity to the water and enjoyed playing on the kayak and stand up paddle board.

Stayed for the week. The place was excellent. It had dishwasher, washer and dryer and a water cooler/dispenser for both hot and cold water, very convenient. Right on the water made it so easy to just get up and go, fishing in 5 minutes. The weather was hit and miss but you’ll have that in May. I will definitely book this place again, a few weeks later next year might be a little warmer.

Booked for my partners 40th birthday and we really loved this property and its close proximity to the lake. We are a family that goes fishing as often as possible, so this was a little slice of heaven for us!

Overall our stay was great! The VRBO and property are both really small, but we knew that from the listing. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities and a few extras, but it is difficult to find what you’re looking for. I did not find the washer and dryer right away so we ended up not using it but it does tell you where it’s located if you read more carefully the check in info.

This was a delightful experience! The property exceeded our expectations. It was well kept, very clean, allowed us to have our two fur babies with us, had a wonderful view of the lake from the patio and living room, and was close to good eating establishments and activities (golf). We DEFINITELY intend to be coming back.
