We had an awesome stay! We kayaked both days! It was nice they were on site to use and easy to put in the water. This property had everything you need to cook, bbq and you can swim right off the dock! I will be back for sure!!

This property was incredible! We had a perfect stay over the weekend and wanted for not a single thing while we were there. The place was completely stocked and exceptionally clean. Will be reminiscing about dinners in the screened-in porch and (so many) jumps off the dock for a long time to come.

We were allowed to check in early. The house was as pictured. The dock and covered porch were great hang out spots for breakfast and after our days out on the river. The kayaks were in good shape. We did rent a round boat too. House was clean and in a great spot. Had such a great family vacation.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Cabana. The house was in a good location, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. We especially loved being on the canal with easy access to the Weeki Wachee river. We spent a lot of time kayaking and were lucky enough to experience many manatee sightings. The only real issues we had were intermittent wi-fi and poor phone signal (AT&T). The host was very responsive when we reached out to him, which we appreciated.

I have stayed here before. Very nice and some great updates. New kitchen counter and sink love it!. Also new deck outside and moved kayaks to a better location. Just a great place to stay. I like that it is off the main river but not too far and its quiet. I will be back.Pet friendly which I really appreciate.Margaret Adams

Loved the beautiful deck on the water and the screened porch. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Kayaked from the dock up the Weeki Wachee river and back home. Nice area with good restaurants. Would recommend.

We only had a couple of questions when we arrived, which were answered promptly. Chris and Justine were great! The house had everything!!! I loved that they had cleaning supplies and soaps for the washer and dryer. We stayed over 10 days so it was really nice to have a mop and broom. We loved the bed in the master, and my husband now wants to buy that mattress haha. We fish quite a bit and just off the dock out back there were so many species. We caught largemouth bass, perch, sunnies, and a lot of mullet (which i smoked on the propane grill, which had plenty of propane and an extra full tank). (I left wood smoking chips there if anyone wants to give it a go) The ones we didnt catch but saw- i guess theres a local otter, which tried to steal our mullet on the stringer ha, snook- just cruised right in front of the dock and was easily 25, sheepshead which were in/around 7, turtles, and these really pretty green needlefish. If you're a bird watcher, you would love just sitting on the porch or docks. We even had some sort of vulture-i saw its claws haha trying to steal our bait. But seriously it was really nice sitting on the porch in the mornings and just listening to the symphony. Outstanding house, and fyi the temps went down to around 56F and the units they have worked great on heating the house/they also cool. My husband loved it so much he started looking at properties.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for our family of 4 and the waterfront location was wonderful!! The really appreciated the use of kayaks and the canal was a short paddle to the river. The boys enjoyed fishing off of the dock and we used the grill and fire pit several times. The screened porch was also a very nice place to relax and enjoy the water views. It was nice to have a large TV and comfy couch to watch the bowl games (we have had rentals before that did not). The owners were very helpful before our stay and luckily we didn’t have any issues during our stay that needed assistance, but I’m sure they would have been responsive if we did! We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area!

The trip with our friends was excellent and we were able to try the go boats as we wanted on the river. The location of the house was in just the right spot to be able to explore the area by water. The property itself was clean and met our needs for the 2 nights we stayed there. Enjoyed being able to sit outside by a fire in the evening.

This house had everything we needed for 6 adults and 1 dog. The area is perfect for boating and kayaking. Furniture and beds were comfortable. We would stay again for sure.

The property had everything you needed on site! We only needed to supply the food! Our kids and grandchildren loved swimming. We even had a manatee come to our dock almost every day! It is by far the best property that we have stayed at. I have never seen Florida in that way. Now I understand what Old Florida means. Absolutely beautiful! Definitely plan on returning.

Fantastic place for a family getaway

Location was perfect. We brought out boat and had no issues accessing the river and the gulf. Only reason for the 4 starts is the house needed some updating. Back door wouldn't shut and we were not able to lock up the place while gone, also the dock was not safe to use. The owner did inform us on this issue, however 2 days before our saty. I would recommend this place because the price was right for what we got.

Our family loved our stay. The house is right on the river. I enjoyed sitting in the screened patio enjoying the view. The kids were able to launch the kayaks provided easily & the springs itself was just a short paddle. The layout was perfect, we had enough space that we weren't right on top of each other. I am a home cooker & appreciated all the kitchen equipment & dishware provided. Communication with the hosts was easy, quick, & pleasant. We will definitely be back. This place was located in between Roger’s park and buccaneer Bay. It has enough room for a large family and still be cozy. Perfectly located to kayak where ever you want . I will definitely come back !

We had a great few days for a long weekend spring break. We love being on the water and exploring the area. The house was clean with everything we needed. Thank you for allowing dogs, he enjoyed himself. We have stayed in the neighborhood before and loved coming back to the neighborhood. We enjoy old Florida feel and wildlife.

Great trip for a few nights over spring break. Perfect set up for a small crew - super clean, great amenities, excellent communications, and just a short paddle to the river. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful experience. We didn't have communication with the property manager but didn't feel the need to either. It was perfect for our family of assorted aged adults and 10 yr.oldyears old

The cottage was the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped, and everything we needed was right there. The location on a canal right off the river is ideal for short or long explorations of the river via kayak. We'll be staying again!!

Super cute little place with easy access to the river. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy so we had to seek indoor activities. Hope to return, so that we can actually enjoy the paddling and the outdoors.

Chris was a five star host. Modified reservations for us, with absolutely no problems. His home is beautiful, a good bed, and we enjoyed the kayaks. You can kayak to a popular eating place called the upper deck. I would not hesitate to stay again.

The house was very clean and fully supplied with necessary items so we only needed to do grocery shopping for our specific tastes. The kitchen has labels on cupboards making it easy to find items and put them away. The kayaks were in good condition and we utilized them several times during our week-long visit. There was plenty of room for two couples.
