Cody and Tidy little holiday bach. Teens enjoyed the kayaks, and I loved having our wee dog stay with us. Shelley was amazing x

We loved staying here for a few days over Easter. It's a lovely, quiet and well equipped seaside bach. It's a 10 minute drive from Tutukaka, so perfect if you don't want to be in the middle of it all. Our kids loved the kayaks and went out in them several times. A couple of reviews mentioned problems with the WiFi - we streamed sky sport without any problems. We hope to be back soon

Fabulous location, with great kitchen/dining area that flows out to the sunny rear deck. Very comfortable, but some areas tired.

This was a expensive rental (relative to others in the area) which looked private and lovely with a beautiful view in the photos but sadly did not live up to our expectations. There were definitely some positives. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The estuary is lovely. The beaches and walks in the area are great. There is a brilliant gym in the village. The negatives include: Really old and run down bathrooms (really rudimentary!). Poor storage in one of the bedrooms- we lived out of our suitcase for 10 days. Poor privacy from the road/ neighbours. Very noisy neighbours including a New Years party with music so loud the walls of the batch shook until after 2 a.m (despite us trying to request that the music could be quieter after midnight). A ? camping ground right next door with caravans, barking dogs and loud domestic disagreements :( A nice view of the estuary but hidden partially by the neighbours car parked in front of us. Not a batch we would ever return to.

A lovely relaxing place to stay. We had nearly 3 weeks there and thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely book again. Rooms are all generous in size and nicely furnished. Although the front bedroom doesn't have any hanging space or drawers. The kitchen is new and very well appointed. The bathrooms are old. It is a little bit odd that the living room doesn't open to the view side, but if you leave the front bedroom door open you can see the water from the kitchen and dining and there is another lounge suite in the front bedroom so you can sit there and enjoy the water when it is windy. There is seating on the north and south sides of the house so you can always find somewhere sheltered. The rear of the house is well set up with comfortable outdoor furniture and bifolding doors that open up from the kitchen and dining. It could use a sun umbrella as it is a great little sun trap. The estuary is clean and great for swimming at high tide and walks at low tidy. There is also a nice reserve close by for walks. We saw some stunning sunsets while we were there. The house has air conditioning and an HRV system although we didn't use either. The internet can be a bit patchy.
