Waterfront Oasis w/ Private Dock, Firepit, Arcade & Sunset Views

I loved this place it was so beautiful and peaceful. The host was responsive with our concerns.

The property is dated and needs minor repairs.Beware of a cleaning fee that you will not be getting back. Views are wonderful though.

Very clean home, Took fishing gear for our Grandson, no luck but he still had a blast!!

The view at the location was nice, and the place was big enough for my friends and I, but....it is in need of some major maintenance. One of the mattresses felt springs, one of the bedroom doors was splitting, most of the windows in the front room were stripped so you couldn't open them and some of the lights/fans we couldn't figure out.When we arrived, the trash bins were full, there was dangling cable wires blowing around outside and one of the front room windows was broke....and open..and unable to be closed! It was a crank window that was stripped, no screen and couldn't be closed. Plus, no matter what we changed the thermostat to, the air coming out always felt.cold. Also, the dock was worn and jad missing planks. The worst part about all this was I messaged him immediately and he never answered....we stayed 3 nights Thurs night checkin, sunday morning checkout) and I messaged him each day, sent pics, etc and he never answered until 30 min before checkout, apologizing and thanking me for being so understanding, but I hadn't said I was. Me and my friends get together once a year like this and being completely ignored during this stay was not appreciated. Cleaned up a bit, some maintenance and actual communication, this would be a nicer stay.

Had a great time and beautiful place on water!

The rooms were clean and spacious. We did not cook in the kitchen so I have nothing to tell you there. The common areas were also clean and spacious and contained a standalone vintage arcade game. This was very helpful in entertaining our two grandchildren aged 9 and 11. I would gladly return to this property.

Jeremy was super communicative and generous. We loved the fire pit and the view. Would love to return in warmer weather to go out on the river with the paddle boats. Great stay!

An older house but still nice and pet friendly. Rugs and carpet needed cleaning.

Beautiful views and the house was great. Could not figure out all the lights. Mid split did not seem to cool. Overall awesome place and great location. I would definitely stay there again. Needs a new Bbq. Overall, great place to stay.

Quick stay so I could visit family in Abingdon and DC. So awesome. Beautiful property even with the raging wind and snow storm.

The location of this property is amazing. Unfortunately, for us the house did not equal the location. We went there to use the house. We are foodies and brought tons of food to cook. The listing said Kitchen is stocked. This could not be further from the truth. If we knew what it was really like we would not have planned on cooking anything more than coffee. The 3 pans in the house were old and disgusting. We did not want to use them but had no choice. There was not even a pot holder. We had to go out and buy them. I think maybe it would be helpful if your pictures showed open cabinets so you could decide what to bring or to pass on a property. This house also gave you the feeling that someone was either moving out or moving in. There is no decor in this house including no lamps on the nightstands in the bedrooms. Had to get up in the middle of the night and cracked my toe on the end of the bed in the dark. The furniture in the living room was old and dirty. The house was clean where you could immediatly see, but open a drawer in the bathroom and see hair. Open a cabinet and see crumbs. I have pictures. Could be a fabulous house with just a little effort.

The view is lovely and there’s plenty of room for a gathering. The kitchen is not well stocked with cookware so plan on eating carry out or pack your pots and pans. If the weather is warm and you’re into water sports, it would be a great place to stay. We enjoyed watching the eagle fly over the river. Pack your binoculars!

We stayed here over the weekend and had a great time. The home is located about twenty mins from lots of great restaurants and things to do for kids! The arcade machine was a huge hit with my kids. The view of the river was amazing. We sat in the house and watched the sunset and sunrise every day. The host was also very responsive.

The house is spacious (more than the photos may lead you to believe), with numerous gathering centers inside and out. My guests enjoyed the dock at sunset and the fire pit by the water. The patio under the house had a charcoal grill and ample space for tables and chairs. Though our weekend had perfect weather, the covered patio made the place weatherproof had it rained. There is tons of parking, and a beautiful view over the water. The Host was readily available via VRBO messaging, Usually responding well within 15 minutes. The inside of the house itself was clean and well maintained, with my only ding being that the outside could've been a little more tidy. All in all, I shouldn't rave about this place too much, because I intend to stay there again, and don't want the competition for bookings! ;)

Quick mini vacation for friends. Needed a place of relax and enjoy the water view. The property met all of our expectations and had enough room for our group of 5. Lots of privacy and space for all of us. Enjoyable visit
