Waterfront Island Home with Heated Pool & Dock – Walk to Pristine Beach - Kayaks

What a wonderful place to stay! Talk about upgrades! The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need (and extra snacks too!) It is on a quiet road and very easy to communicate with the host.Easy to fish from the private dock! We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!!The outside amenities include: kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles. Great life jackets available in many sizes!Pete and Jan made our visit so special!

We enjoyed a three-day stay at Our Happy Place. It was a very positive experience! The house was immaculate and very well-equipped, both kitchen and outdoor toys. Beds super comfy. Great living room layout with nice couch and tv and wonderful screen porch. Pool was clean and shady, the perfect temp and so relaxing! We loved lazing the afternoons away in it. We had a lot of fun exploring the island in the golf cart. Had a good dinner at Rum Bay one night. Hosts Jan and Pete welcomed us and our dog, Cookie, with open arms and kisses from their dog, Tucker! The fenced in yard was so nice for the pups. Our only suggestion would be to edit the description “walk to pristine beach” in the house listing. It would be a long, hot walk. We were very happy we had the golf cart to get there, or we would have gone by car. Minor detail! Overall, we loved the house, the beach, the hosts, and of course, Tucker! It’s a perfect rental for people who want to enjoy nature, swim, cook out, beachcomb, paddle, etc. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO rental and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The bathrooms were also immaculate and thoughtfully supplied with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.One of our absolute favorite features was the screened-in porch—we loved enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner out there every single day. The pool was warm, sparkling clean, and had plenty of shade, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also really appreciated the extra amenities, including two bikes and kayaks. It was so fun and convenient to bike to the beach, which was only about five minutes away!If you plan to bring beach chairs or umbrellas, we highly recommend renting a golf cart to make trips to the beach even easier. The owners were fantastic—very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. :)Overall, we had an amazing time and made so many great memories. We can’t wait to come back again one day!

Wonderful property. Outfitted with everything we could possibly need for a week in one of our favorite places on earth. The pool was the best. Owners were available to answer questions. Everything was great.

Loved this home! Private and had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. My daughter especially loved the pool! Couldn’t ask for a better vacation home. Beach was also nice and peaceful. Really enjoyed hunting seashells! The hosts were very hospitable and quick to respond with any questions.

Palm Island is our favorite local retreat. This home lived up to the Old Florida vibe that we love! We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, enjoying dinner on the screened lanai and exploring the island by golf cart. We would love to stay at this home again.
