Stayed Mar 27, 2026This was a perfect off-the-beaten-path, quiet, relaxing vacation spot for our family! The beach was absolutely beautiful and not busy, even on spring break! Perfect location with a very short walk to the beach, harbor & pool.

Stayed Mar 21, 2026The condo was amazing. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The beds were comfortable, but the absolute best part of the condo were the views. I loved watching the sun set on the patio. Of course, proximity to the beach was another positive we loved. Thank you for sharing your space!

Stayed Mar 7, 2026What a perfect little spot to rest and relax! The unit is just as described, clean and well equipped, only a short walk to the beach with unobstructed views of the gulf from the back patio. The ferry service makes this unit easy to access from the mainland. It was a really special place. Enjoyed every minute of our visit.

Stayed Feb 26, 2026This was the perfect location for us! Once we became familiar with the ferry process, and realized that our car was not in a gated lot, and we didn't have to have a parking tag...we were able to relax. We were concerned with the fact that the parking lot did not match the description, we were concerned about being towed. The condo was clean, everything was provided and we could see the ocean from the back porch. The walk to the beach was very peaceful stroll to the beach! Excellent!!!

Stayed Feb 19, 2026The house was well stocked and taken care of. We really appreciated the excess towels and beach toys. The internet access is wonderful. We've never had such good internet on the island. Christine has also been very responsive to messages and easy to work with.

Stayed May 4, 2025We had a really nice time at Little Gasparilla Island. Christine’s place was very nice, clean & up to date. The beach was absolutely beautiful! We were a bit surprised of the condition of the community itself…due to hurricane damage from three years ago. I think a golf cart probably should have been provided by the owner just for getting around the community itself. We did way more walking than we thought we would have to do. It is quite a long walk from the ferry boat to the condo & a bit of a walk from the condo to the beach. If you don’t mind walking a lot, again…the condo was very nice & the beach was gorgeous and not crowded at all. I would highly recommend not paying 600 to rent a golf cart for the week from one of the golf cart rental places. One of the owners at this community told us that you won’t be able to even explore the island in a golf cart because of all the damage on the island. Make sure you have everything you need once you get on the ferry boat to go over to the island because there are no stores on the island. Overall, it was a new experience staying on an island, bit we did enjoy it. Thank you Christine for allowing us to rent your beautiful condo.

Stayed Mar 24, 2025Overall this was an amazing stay! My husband, 3 kids (8,10,12) and myself had such a wonderful time. This is clearly a community still in recovery after the hurricanes. The place however was just as pictured. The shuttle process went well to get to the island and the captains were all so friendly. The Hideaway property is still under quite a bit of construction but our specific place was finished. It was clean and everything was perfectly described in the listing. The beds were very comfortable (I am super picky) and the location was unbeatable. The ocean was so beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for better weather or shelling! Christine had everything we would need for the beach from chairs to boogie boards and sand toys. She was also an excellent communicator. The kids all had a blast. We definitely want to come back again! However I will pack less clothes and more sunscreen;) Also get the pizza delivery! It was such a treat! Thank you for everything!

Stayed Mar 16, 2025We appreciated the screened lanai and the bonus space with hammock and chairs under the condo. (The variety of spaces was helpful with combining work, kids, vacation.) The pool was wonderfully warm, and finding numerous shark teeth on the beach a treat. Christine relayed helpful answers to questions including information on mainland grocery and kayak rental. Ferry/skiff captains were friendly as well.
