Native Sun has beautiful views of both the ocean and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. With 4,000 square feet, Native Sun is located along Buxton's beach and very close to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The ground level has beach access, a private pool, a hot tub, showers, and a fish-cleaning table.
There are six primary bedrooms with private bathrooms, including one with a roll-in shower/sink; four have deck access.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Our stay at Native Sun provided us with one of the best vacation experiences we’ve had in OBX. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, and met all of our groups needs. The kitchen was well stocked and items listed as broken or needing improvements in previous post were all fixed. The location of the property provided super easy beach access which we utilized every day. We absolutely loved our stay at Native Sun!!

Stayed Jun 21, 2025House was wonderful had plenty of room it wasn't waterfront but good enough. The waves are loud enough that it makes it seem like you are right on the beach. Pool was perfect. Im still giving it a 5 star because my only complaint was the misinformation about trash pickup

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Good location and nice to have an elevator! Hot water works great. Nice to have a king bed in 7 of the 8 bedrooms that were nicely arranged. Also liked the large sitting area on the third floor and the views of the ocean.
