Waterfront House w/ Sound View, Shared Pool, Private W/D, Private Hot Tub

Fantastic location, great outdoor toys, views of a lifetime. Outdoor showers with hot water! However the place is filthy and in disrepair. Most kitchen lights do not work, cooking by partial light. Vent registers are a public health hazards, lint and yuk debris covered every one of them. Hot tub jets, majority does not work. Floors are disgusting, clean feet are dirty in minutes. Either the owners do not care or the management company is negligent. Too bad such a location.

Secluded with amazing views all around. Great vacation home for you and the family. Hot tub worked great everything but the LEDS. Overall great place to stay would definitely go again.

We booked this house for a group of nine adults, and it accommodated everyone nicely for the week. When we ran into any issues regarding the house Vacasa sent someone out to handle the problem in an extremely timely manner (thank you, Kyle!). If you are looking to stay on the Sound side of Hatteras this house is a solid choice.

The house was very quiet and tucked away with amazing views. With that being said, I would not pay the regular price that is being asked for this house. This house needs a lot of general maintenance updates. Some lights worked, some didn't, the cabinets were run down and really dirty with paint chipping off. The mattresses could use an overhaul and dedicated internet would be great as well. Don't get me wrong, we were grateful for the opportunity to stay here, but not for what they're charging regularly. We stayed 3 weeks and have stayed at a ton of homes throughout brigands bay, which we love. There was an ongoing maintenance issue with the dishwasher, but vacasa was great and speedy with having someone come out and the communications.

We loved staying at this property over Christmas with our family. It was cold and windy during our stay, and we delighted in watching the birds from the comfort of the living room. I even saw shooting stars early one morning from bed (the north facing upstairs master). The kitchen was well set up for cooking and baking together. We hope to be back!

Super comfortable, everything worked as expected, very private, easy bike access to Frisco and Buxton, excellent launch spot for windsurfing.

This place was great. Patio deck was great sitting on both in the morning and evening viewing both Sunrise and sunset. The area was very quiet and peaceful and view was just amazing. Definitely can see myself wanting to stay here again in the future with family. Great place, great location.

This is a big house with a priceless view! You are basically the last house on the island, and it is a quiet neighborhood. The listing description is pretty accurate, however all of the screens on the porch were broken, the powder room toilet is sinking into the floor (sketchy!), some of the jets on the hot tub did not work, a lot of the lights were burnt out when we arrived, and the cleaning crew was not very good. We came and the floors were still dirty, there was garbage in the cans everywhere outside, and personal items like clothing etc were left behind from the last guests. We could not use the grills, because they were dirty and a RAT was staying inside one of them. We called the property management company for a couple of days and they did not do anything about it. The house was pretty well stocked, the only things I would mention to bring would be extra pillows, dishcloths (there were none in the house), hand soap, and garbage bags. The location is great for exploring the Outer Banks, especially if you are a beach goer. The pool is 18 minutes away but definitely worth it.

This home is surrounded by water views and feels both remote and close enough to enjoy the local restaurants, shops, and beaches. We would definitely choose this house every year for our OBX visits!
