Waterfront House w/ Private Hot Tub, Free WiFi, Water View, Shared Pool

The area was nice and relaxing. Fishing was a bust. The home is beautiful just needs a bit more TLC .

Fishing off the dock was our favorite thing to do on this trip. The dock is spacious. Caught a 28 speckled trout there. Enjoyed taking the kayaks out as well. The house could use some updates but, the price is great for value. We were comfortable.

First time staying canal front and wasn’t too bad, no snakes or buggy. The dock and cleaning station were nice. Driveway is narrow for pickups, it would be doubtful if a DRW truck would fit. There beer bottles left in the pool table room and smelled of cigarettes, there was also trash left in the sink of the cleaning station and a pile of charcoal left in the grill. Only slept in the top floor bedroom and it was really uncomfortable, my back hurt all week from the mattress, the couches in the living were as well, made from dimensional lumber. Kitchen was less than expected, no rhyme or reason on where anything was and there was pot that was cracked in a couple places. The staff from Vacasa were easy to get a hold of and they offered to come clean the pool table room, grill, and cleaning station but I declined because I was on vacation and didn’t feel like having someone come over. The A/C and fans worked great and that was really the only high point of the house. Upgrade the mattresses, furniture, and kitchen pots and pans and this place would be an easy 4-5/5 rating. Would not recommend.

Well appointed. Very spacious. Very clean. Be prepared to climb stairs. I knew what I was booking and the stairs were part of it. Just wanted to alert people that might have elderly, handicapped or bad knees. However, for everyone else the house was very welcoming. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the canals. Plenty of space for everyone. The A/C was fantastic on all floors. The rooms were a great size. The owner should really include a photo of all the kitchen utensils they provide. I brought stuff from home because you never know what to expect when renting a vacation house but I never used my own items. They did a great job of stocking the kitchen so you could really cook. Fantastic experience. Would rent again. ?

The location was wonderful. The mattresses need to be updated. First level bedrooms air conditioning wasn’t the best and we tried to use ceiling fans but they would make clicking sounds. The canal was great for outdoor water activities.

Home was exactly as listed. Trees need to be trimmed over driveway. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time of relaxation

We loved staying in this home for a week! Very relaxing and beautiful on the water! Very minor maintenance things and they did call us two times stating we were getting a new microwave and felt done in the pool table and both times nobody showed up (not a big deal as it wasnt anything urgent) other then that, we plan to go back to this house every year!

Very nice home however could of used a little TLC. The kitchen cabinets were full of items that didn't leave any space for our purchased groceries. The toilets were a little challenging initially but we figured them out. The home was a little hard to find as the name and number of the rental was really hard to see from the road. Otherwise, very pleased!

Due to a storm we had to move houses. This was not the house that we had originally picked but Hatteras Realty did a great job finding us a new location that was not flooded due to the storm. They did the best they could to be accommodating. The house Compass Rose is ok. The view of the sound channels and the 360 Panoramic view from the top deck is stunning. The house left much to be desired. The house was not properly cleaned, the beds were not made so I had to make the beds. Not a big issue but when going into the master bathroom the toilet had not been flushed (you can imagine what was in there). This signified that the bathrooms had not been cleaned either. There was some TP and paper towels and they had put clean towels in the bedrooms but thats about it. The house has a lot of potential but not well taken care of and needs some serious upgrades. Also if you are a light sleeper note that the bedrooms are on the second floor with the kitchen and livingroom on the 3rd so it can be noisy.
