The property was very clean and cosy. I will definitely stay there again.

The views are what make this place special. I never turned on the TV one time. On our first night it was dead calm and I could hear a pod of orcas breathing as they passed by. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was gorgeous but if you’re old school be prepared to learn how to work smart appliances. The cons were the stairs. Getting your luggage in and out is a huge effort. And the 10am check out time is a bit much considering all those stairs.

The view was amazing. So quiet and peaceful. The home was super clean! Loved all the spaces. We used the hottub and it was great. Hot, lots of room and on the deck overlooking the water. Would love to spend weeks here!!!

If I could give this house 10 stars, I would. It is even better in person than in the pictures. The house is amazing! The location is very quiet, and I could sit on that deck for days and enjoy how unbelievably beautiful the view is. We had a seal that hung out around the shore right beneath the house every morning and evening, and a huge bald eagle was there almost every day. 10 minutes from Friday Harbor, so you get the best of both worlds. The owners are very responsive. We will absolutely be back!

I rented the house for a long weekend birthday celebration (72nd). I invited my son, his girlfriend and my grandson, his wife. They are all in their late twenties/early thirties.The house was just as described except for the long set of metal stairs down the hill to the house. It may have mentioned them in the listing, just be aware that someone needs to be able to navigate them, in and out, with everyone’s belongings, food, games, etc. We absolutely loved our time at the house!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described if not better. The home was spotless, well stocked with essentials, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax right away.The host provided clear instructions for check in/check out and even offering helpful local recommendations. The location was perfect off the water, close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and quiet for a restful night's sleep.One of the highlight was definitely the patios with a stunning view, open floor layout with or fully equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. It really felt like a home away from home.Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely book this property again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free getaway!

We came for a get away and to see the Ocra’s. The house is just gorgeous and the views amazing. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

Great stay at a great property. Only thing it could have used was some kind of shelter for the hot tub so you can still use it in the rain.

Tongue and grooved knotty pine, Leathered granite counters, views of the water from every angle. High end amenities, a perfect place to unwind. High end flooring throughout with heated tile floors in the bathrooms and utility/wash room. An amazing place to stay on San Juan, perfectly situated between Friday harbor and Roche harbor. Orcas, sea lions and coast guard were plentiful for viewing from the two different balcony style decks. What a treat!

We loved staying here. The only disappointment was that the fireplace is not for guest use. Also, no fires are permitted on the property even when fire restrictions are lifted.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. The house was immaculate with all the conveniences we expected. Tub was just the right location. Induction stove and convection oven.Couldn’t have had a better place to spend a quiet Christmas day.

Stunning views of the sound from every room. The home looked just like the pictures. We came here for a quick getaway with another couple, and we loved the board games, the decks, easy access to Friday Harbor, and privacy the home offered. We’d love to come back!

The house was clean and very comfortable. The master bedroom was lovely, but missing a closet anywhere upstairs for hanging clothes. The bed mattress is needing a flip or replacement since there are dips which make it not as comfortable as I'm guessing it was in the beginning. Awoke with a bit of a sore back in the mornings, but not terrible.

Nice property but very uncomfortable to eat at high kitchen table with backless bar stools. Most kitchen amenities great except foil, baggies or Kleenex. No shampoo or conditioner in shower area

The space was set up as a real adult getaway. No bunk beds, no corner piled high with beat up games and puzzles with missing pieces. It felt very high end. The location was nothing short of peace and quiet. Solitude. It was everything we wanted. The hot tub was amazing…with a view. This is the place you go to get away. Leave the kids and dogs home with the in laws and reconnect. Also such a short distance to the downtown for dining and shopping. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Will absolutely be returning.

Loved the wildlife show (bald eagles, kingfishers, jellyfish and tiny fishes were regulars) and seeing the gorgeous sunsets. We stayed in the master bedroom upstairs which was spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom was a little less fancy, but our friends said the bathroom was lovely. Given how much cooking we ended up doing, I do wish that the knives were a little sharper, if only for safety reasons, and that there was a rubber spatula. If I were staying there again, I would probably bring some of those items from home. However, overall a great location and a beautiful home. I feel I should add that there was information about an emergency water shortage left on the property’s front door and garage. Given that we and our guests were from drought plagued areas, we understood the seriousness of the request. Just a reminder that even on vacation, you can’t escape the realities of the environment.

It was secluded enough to feel like a true retreat, yet still conveniently close to local attractions and activities. The property owners were fantastic hosts, providing us with all the information we needed ahead of time and ensuring that everything was in perfect order upon our arrival.
