Waterfront home with ocean views, private pool, hot tub, & Tesla/EV charger

Very large and open floor plan. All rooms have a king bed and the double washer and dryer was nice for multiple people doing laundry. The access to the water on the sound is great for kayaking or boating right from the house. The pool area is nice with a good sized covered area for grilling and hanging out in the shade. The shack by the water with the pool table and such was a nice addition but it had a very moldy smell to it so we didn’t use it. Not sure if that was just a case of being there during high humidity or it needs a good cleaning. Definitely lots of critters escaping to dry land when it was really humid or after rain but that’s nature for you. Overall very happy with the house and the stay.

Excellent place to hold multiple families together. The kitchen is well stocked! Great location right near Ramp 49 and restaurants around us. We definitely will come back!

Large and multiple gathering spots in the house plus outside areas. Easy access to drive your 4wheel drive vehicles on strand. Chef’s kitchen with everything you need to cook for your entire guests.

For second time staying here, we had an unbelievably fantastic time. Great house for our group!!!

Comfortable home for a family. Love the pool, the separate game room, and fun to have a fire at the waters edge! We all enjoyed the home!

Absolutely Amazing home! The views are spectacular. Large bedrooms and each have an en-suite and each have a balcony with sitting areas. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The love shack is an awesome game room/getaway spot. We were so surprised that there was a paddle board and kayak included. Our family fished on the sound with comfortable andirondack chairs to sit in and crabbed on the deck. The swimming pool and surrounding outdoor amenities were fantastic. We grilled out several evenings and very much appreciated having a fridge and prep area with seating for outdoor meals and a pool house. The Love Boat exceeded by far the expectations that I had for our vacation home. Many thoughtful touches, like toiletries and board games, were very much appreciated.

This house was absolutely perfect for who and what we had. We now join the rest of the reviews that say we will only stay at this house from here on out. We did have a maintenance issue, the refrigerator stopped working and we lost food, but we are in the process of resolving this with the realtor. Overall, our entire party was beyond happy!!!

Our group has been renting houses in the OBX for 25+ years and everyone agreed, the Love Boat by far is the favorite. The house exceeded our expectations! Not one detail was overlooked. There were 14 of us spanning four generations. The house is laid out in such a way that there are plenty of areas to spread out so it never felt crowded. The adjacent Love Shack about 100 yards away from the house by the water was a favorite hang out late at night and was far enough from the house that any noise didn't disturb those who wanted a low key evening. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with plenty of cookware, sharp knives, spices, etc. for those who like to cook. The icemaker in the freezer was broken but bags of ice were delivered without us even asking. We realized there was no toaster the first morning. Without making a call one magically showed up later in the day. I'll be honest, I've read negative reviews about the rental agency so was a little nervous ahead of our stay, but the complete opposite happened. We felt like VIP's and would definitely rent here again!
