Waterfront Home - Pool + Kayaks, SUP's, & Boat Dock - SUMMER availability!

The property was exactly as listed. It was perfect for our family of 6! The kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The beach closet was well stocked, and the walk to the beach was quick and easy even for our four year old! This was our first time in the area, and we could not have been happier with our decision to stay at The Canal House.

This property does NOT disappoint! Our family (5 adults and a dog) enjoyed everything about it! It’s clean, comfortable, spacious, well stocked and beautiful! We loved kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, as well as watching for dolphins and jumping fish in the canal and intercoastal. The balconies were perfect for watching storms roll in and our dog loved keeping an eye on everything from them (there’s a folding gate that kept her from going down the stairs). Proximity to the beach is awesome, just a quick walk across the street and over the dunes. We spent many days floating and riding the waves to shore. We liked the location because it’s not commercial, not super busy, but is an easy drive to get to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping in Surf City or Topsail Beach, both of which are cute and portions are as if time forgot them. We went to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach for a nice day trip. The owners, Elisabeth and Bryan, were super quick anytime I messaged them with a question. There’s really nothing better we could have asked for! We HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone and we’d absolutely come back again!!

Great location and little complex. Kids loved the pool. The house was well appointed with many helpful toys and beach equipment.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The views were lovely and the unit is extremely clean, well kept, and well appointed. Having the option of the intercostal, ocean, and pool was a big perk! This was a last minute rental for us and the property owner/manager was very accommodating.

This rental has most everything covered, even kayaks and SUPs. Great views of the canal and sound from the living room. Owner is very responsive and attentive.

We stayed over Thanksgiving. The place was so ckean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for cooking and comfort. The location was awesome a short walk to the beach that was clean and lovely. Would love to stay again in the summer when we could use the kayaks and paddle boards.

What an amazing vacation at Canal House in Queens Grant! The house was super clean and spacious for our teen boys, my in-laws and us. The house is close enough to walk to the beach, but the sound side daily fishing (catch and release) for my boys was awesome! None of us used the community pool or other community amenities. The evening sunsets were spectacular, and we were able to see a few nights of the full, red moon. The boys and my hubby enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. We ate out at Shaka Taco and Beach Shop and Grill, but cooked in the rest of the time. Plenty of markets for groceries and fishing supplies. Elisabeth was super helpful and quick to respond! It was a much needed, quiet, low-key vacation spot! Lots of fun and great memories were made at Canal House.?

We had an incredible time at this home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the host had thought of everything. The home was immaculately clean and well stocked, making us feel instantly at ease. The booking process was seamless, thanks to the host's quick and helpful response. One of the highlights was being able to park our boat right outside in the canal. This convenience allowed us to hop on and explore the waterways and nearby islands with ease. The kayaks and paddle boards provided were a huge hit and added an adventurous element to our daily activities. We found ourselves exploring new islands and sandbars, creating unforgettable memories along the way. A standout evening was when we used the seafood boil table for a classic low country boil. It was not only delicious but also a fun and interactive way to enjoy a meal together as a family. Overall, this home and its perfect location provided everything we needed for a fantastic family vacation. Whether you're looking for relaxation on the water, fishing, playing on the beach, or adventures exploring nearby islands, this property delivers. It truly exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return!

My family had a fantastic stay at this location. Easy walk to the pool and beach. Short drive or bike ride to South Topsail where there are restaurants, a pier, a skating rink, coffee shop and more. Queens Grant feels very safe and all the renters/owners we met were so kind. The townhome is very well stocked. My husband didn’t stay the whole time and actually took some of the extra stuff we brought home. There are plenty of beach towels, kitchen utensils and cookware (we’ve all stayed at that place that considered cookware one pot and one pan), but not here. They had boogie boards, kayaks, and paddle boards to use. They also had baby gates which was helpful for keeping our dog on the patio while enjoying playing games or reading books on it. The place was just as described, quite possibly better. Very clean and well thought out. Some of the places we visited that we enjoyed the most are Daily Grind (coffee, donuts, pastries), Santorinis (lasagna, calamari, chicken parm), and Surf City Pier (fishing, socialization, BLTs and breakfast burritos). I do just want to make you aware that the stairs can be a lot especially the outdoor plus the indoor if you are in and out frequently. My mom hurt her knee shortly before the trip and ended up staying in the smaller room on the main floor to avoid having to do so many. Honestly though pretty much anything on Topsail Island has stairs so there is no real avoiding it. Wouldn’t keep us from returning.
