Our hosts Irina &Vincent were as warm and welcoming as on prior visits. Their bright and airy lakeside home offered all of the amenities that one might want - modern yet cozy, complete with kayaks and paddleboards ready to be launched.Already we are eager to return.

Always the best week of the year! We returned to the Owl's Nest for the 5th time this summer and enjoyed an amazing week. We love enjoying the views from the two decks, and going out on the paddle boards and kayaks to explore is always fun. Our daughter has grown up here and we can't wait to come back again and continue making memories.

We had a wonderful summer vacation at this beautiful waterfront home. House was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Spent our days kayaking and swimming on the water and exploring the local town and surrounding areas. Owners were very responsive and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. We can’t wait to return!

This is our second time staying at the Owl’s Nest and it was just as wonderful as before. The house is immaculate and well appointed. We did some adventures for local hiking, but we easily could have stayed the entire week enjoying the water. There are plenty of local choices for eating out that are child-friendly, and of course, Round Top Ice cream is not to be missed. Conveniences in the area are close by and easy to get to if you need them (e.g., grocery store, pharmacy, etc). The lake is peaceful and although it allows motorboats, the motorboat traffic light and therefore does not disturb your peace and quiet! We had several loon sightings, and saw a bald eagle once at the house and a pair of bald eagles while out on a hike.

This is a very special place that we hope to return to. The setting is spectacular allowing you to feel like you're out on the water even when you're sitting inside the house. Decks, kayaks, SUPs and swim float all made us not want to leave the property. It was also the best stocked house we ever stayed in and communication with the host was very easy. We highly recommend Owls Nest, you won't be disappointed! not want to leave the property.

My family looks forward to staying at the Owl’s Nest all year and it has become our summer tradition. The house is equipped with everything you need and the hosts always leave special welcome gifts for our daughter. Even with the thunderstorms we got, it is a cozy place to watch the rain go by. Thanks for another great year!

The Owl’s Nest is cozy with many thoughtful details by the owners that make us feel welcome. So many things to do and the owners provide just about everything. We kayak, swim, paddle, hike, fish, shop. On a rainy day, there are plenty of books and puzzles to choose from. The lake is spectacular and only a few steps away.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Our family of 4 had a gorgeous week here. We’ve stayed in other places where the property description seemed “too good to be true” and it was…that’s not the case here! Everything is as wonderful (more wonderful, even!) as advertised. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything needed for a true escape. Stay all week and never leave, or explore the area, either way you can’t go wrong. Well-organized and thorough binder includes all the info you need. Irina even sent information ahead of time which was great, as we didn’t need to spend precious time when we arrived, tired after a day of traveling, figuring out what to do and where to eat. The swimming, boating, and hiking could not be beat. We had a great stay and there is really no way to go wrong as a guest here! Even the kitchen knives are sharp! :)
