Waterfront home near the beach with sunrise view, dog-friendly

The house was perfect for our family with 3 kids, wife’s mother, and our two small dogs. One house back from the main beach road, with very close and easily traveled public beach access.

Plenty to f room . Kitchen was very spacious and the house was only a 2 minute walk from the beach. Perfect location!

The short walk to the beach and being on the inlet was wonderful. We didn’t have much luck fishing off the dock but it was fun to have the option and to sit out there in the evenings with our family. The fenced in back yard was nice but it’s all rocks and lots of sandspurs so just fair warning there. The kitchen was equipped with a fair amount of pots, pans, etc. Overall, a nice place to stay.

This house is older and a little dated but was great for our beach trip. It is a short 2 min walk to the beach. The front porch is amazing you can see the waterway and beach. Love that it is dog friendly. Customer service was also amazing and attentive. Will book again

Our family has stayed at the Pour House three times and has always enjoyed the experience. We love the convenient location and appreciate that all the basic necessities are thoughtfully provided. However, during our most recent visit, we were disappointed to find the house had a strong odor of dog urine and did not appear to be adequately cleaned. We hope these issues are addressed to ensure future guests continue to have the great experience we’ve come to expect.

Home was great for our needs. Loved the outside area and easy walk to the beach. Wish there was a little more seating in the living area but it didn’t bother us as we used the dining table for meals and outdoor area for hanging out.

Clean, cozy and convenient. Great place for outdoor activities.I had a great time kayaking on the intercoastal waterway, and my husband enjoy surf fishing.

This was our third stay at Owenly Place. The accommodations, location and weather was great. We will definitely be back in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. Had mostly everything you needed and it was a super short walk down the road and across the street to the public beach access. Very convenient with having a two year old and infant. It’s also a short drive to a few restaurants and local coffee shop which was nice! We would stay here again!

Everything was great , the beds were uncomfortable for everyone. Some were like laying on box springs. Some foam mattresses off amazon for 150 each would fix every bed. Loved the house and location , thank you for having us.

We love the layout of this house and have been here three times now. It's very convenient for our dogs to have the easy-to-clean fenced yard and we LOVE the included waste station! The water pressure in the shower is amazing and the beds are soft and comfortable. Vacasa hasn't been great for us in the past but was so good this year. The local agent reached out just before we checked in with some info and then checked in once we were there. We didn't need anything but it would have been easy to contact them if we did. Thanks for a great weekend!!

The house was clean, well stocked and in a great location. Enjoyed the dock and screened porch. Great for the dogs and great areas close by for extra dog exercise.

We loved staying here. It was just a short 3 minute walk to the beach and loved the fenced in yard for the dog. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and utensils to make cooking a breeze. Beds are comfortable and

We had a great week! The weather was perfect. This is our second time staying at the Owenly place and will be back. Love the location and beach access at the end of the street. We also enjoyed dinner at Smacnalley's.

Great location to get to the beach - so close to beach access

We loved the proximity to the beach and that there was a fenced in back yard for pets. The home could have used a good cleaning, as the kitchen was rather dusty from seeming disuse. Some of the appliances were dated but functional.

We had an awesome stay, it was close to the beach and we love the screen in porch to sit out there to enjoy the sunset. The back yard was great for our dog. Would stay there again.

Pros: very convenient location, short walk to beach, quiet but still also close to things. Pet friendly! Cons: house is showing its age a bit, but still in good shape overall.

Seconds away from the oceans and also the boat dock was great for the children to fish off of.

2nd year staying here. Really like the location and layout of the house

This was a great basic beach house close to the sand and boat ramp. It had some small things but all homes do. They provide sheets but bring blankets. I was able to park my boat in the driveway no problem. Street parking not allowed which could be an issue depending upon how many cars you have. The boat ramp in Holden has very little parking and the ramp itself is in disrepair. I would drive to the ocean isle ramp.

Overall the place was great! We really enjoyed the location of the house and the cleanliness that it had. There were only a few things that we had noticed within the house that could use a few updates and fixes. But overall we were very pleased with our stay, and are looking to book this place again for next year!

The pour house was great! Had everything you could need. 2 min walk to the beach. Nice cold AC. Super clean and the vacasa team was very accommodating. Will come back again. This will probably the house we always stay at.

This was the cleanest, coziest, and spacious beach house for my family and I. We loved the Owenly Place To Be! The views from the porch, especially on the swing are just stunning. This was our first ever time in Holden Beach and the beauty and QUIET is exactly what we needed. Forced us to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean horizon. We were accommodated so well and everything was just perfect. So thankful for such a cozy stay. We hope to be back one day!
