Live cockroach in upstairs front bedroom discovered on day 2, dirty sock in same bedroom that did not belong to us; dirt under/behind dresser in upstairs rear bedroom; loved the baby gates! We had to purchase (and left) outlet covers. We used rubber bands to keep our curious 16 month old out of the kitchen cabinets. Loved the screened in porches. Location was great. We arrived at 4 pm on day 1 and cleaning crew was still there. On last day cleaning crew arrived around 9:15 ish (we thought check out was 10 am on last day). The living room furniture was dirty and could use a thorough cleaning. The house was great for our use, but could use a good deep cleaning and we would consider returning. Thank you for listening to our feedback!

My family and I had an unforgettable vacation at Intracoastal Indulgence in Holden Beach, NC. The luxury accommodations exceeded our expectations, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Being Architects, we especially appreciated the unique artistry and detailing of the home. Our boys, ages 11 and 14, loved the lap pool, and we all enjoyed spending time at the beautiful beach just a short walk away. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing a newly hatched sea turtle nest—an incredible experience we’ll never forget. We also had the pleasure of meeting some friendly locals, adding to the charm of our stay. The sunrises and sunsets were nothing short of spectacular, creating picture-perfect moments each day. We highly recommend Intracoastal Indulgence for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable vacation. It’s truly a gem!

This beach house is in the best location. It overlooks the intercoastal and is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Check in was easy and communication was quick. This beach house is unlike others in its design and comfort. Everything is clean and the beds are comfortable! The loft area is an awesome hang out place and the view was beautiful.

Relax by the pool, swim in intercoastal waters or paddleboard - this location is wonderful for so many adventures on or near the water! The beach is a couple of minutes away. The house's balconies offer spectacular views of both the sunrise and sunset. Even on a rainy day, you can sit on one of the covered balconies and watch pelicans dive for fish, or turkey vultures circling for prey. Such a gorgeous spot! We will come back again and again.

If you’re reading this, you’ve found the perfect home in Holden Beach. If your friends or family are renting nearby, don’t show them the inside as they will be jealous that your place is so much better. It’s perfect. In the morning you’ll get a warm sense that the sun is rising throughout the whole house encouraging you to get out of bed. Take a short walk 2 blocks to the ocean to see amazing sunrises. Return to a huge kitchen with enough room for the early risers with you to be in the kitchen, but not in the way while you make breakfast on an amazing gas stove. Toaster, microwave, hot water maker, coffee machines (espresso or old school), oven. It’s got it all. Mid morning take a walk down to your own pool, grass area and dock! Great views of the grassy, marsh across the way. We see birds every day of all sizes. They even saw a dolphin one mid morning. Enjoy the levels of deck seating on both sides of the house for the perfect morning or afternoon. Plenty of places to be alone or with company. We put together a puzzle in one room, watched TV in two different rooms, lounged inside and outside. Don’t forget to enjoy walking the flat streets in the neighborhood in both directions. We walked to get food and sweets and never had to cross back over the bridge. The grocery store had all we needed to cook every meal (but the fish house was great one evening). If you have an electric car, you can charge here too. I just needed to bring my NEMA 14-50 converter (like what you need for an RV camp site). All in all a great place to stay. Note that only two rooms have closets, so put the kids in those rooms without. So, keep it a secret, just book it and share pictures of the sunset…

I don't even know where to start. This was simply an incredible experience. The house, the amenities, the location. Sitting on any one of the porches was so relaxing. We had a chef in our party and the kitchen had everything he needed. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious for our entire party. There were ample towels, bedding, utensils, etc. We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids from 17 to 5) and everyone had their own space and something to enjoy. We originally had rented a second location as we weren't sure of the space. When high winds came in and ripped some of the siding off the second location, we moved everyone to this house and it was more than enough space to fit everyone comfortably. Every detail was thought of from outdoor showers, the dock, to the executive level porch with a gorgeous view of the sunsets. Even the lighting was perfect. Seems like a small thing, but all the switches made sense with their location. Most were dimmable which was really nice. There were enough 'smart' devices that also didn't require you to read a manual to use. You could use them or not which I thought was a nice touch. It really felt like a summer camp vibe with high-end touches, incredible views, and a straight shot to the beach.
