Waterfront Getaway in Sussex

Hello following our conversation just now, I want to show you the photos I have taken so you can see what I mean and why I am disappointed. There is mould everywhere, both my parents have bad respiratory diseases. Mould on entry of unit, making it slippery for my parents. Over grown weeds, which is not a welcoming sign. The outside area is also mouldy. There was a large pile of leaves left under the outside table i had to sweep away just to be able to sit down at the table. The tennis court has no net and looking at the rusty winding device, would not work anyway. The pool has duck faeces all in it and around it. Its disgusting and unhygienic. The spa also does not work. This property is way below standards. The maintenance is non existent. False advertising at its best here. The facilities are not available nor maintained. My parents are elderly and have been looking forward to this for months. Both are not very mobile, so this place looked perfect. However the disappointment on their faces fuels me with anger, past disappointment. Property was the perfect size for 2 couples and 3 kids. Close access to the water for fishing was fabulous. Worth noting if you have super young children as it's not fenced off. Quiet location tucked off the main road, house was well equipped with a superb oven and a large Weber bbq. Make sure to bring your own washing powder and dishwasher tabs.

The house was in a gated community . House on the water , great views ,needed a little updating . Realestate should have done a better property check as a few things not working or missing . No instructions on TV had to ring and get someone to come down. . No information on garbage , received that after we left . All of us had a pleasant and relaxing weekend which is what we went for . Weather didn’t allow fishing , next time .

The property is spacious and well laid out, in a great location. Awesome access to the water.

We booked to stay at this house for our first get away as a family & it was great. Location was great, near the beach, local shops & cafes. To top it off the complex had a shared pool which was so great for our son. The house was clean, plenty of space & a great outdoor area.

Quite area. Perfect if you just want to do nothing. Just relax.

Real estate needs to revisit the property and list all of its assets. Trailer parking and boat ramp for starters.

Happy with the location, size and features of this property. But was let down by the cleanliness of the place. Bbq was disgusting, floors were dirty, air conditioner was mouldy and the ceiling fans were 3mm thick in dirt and scum. My wife spent the first half a day cleaning the place

This house hasn't been maintained for a long time. There are lots of broken items in the house (dryer, fridge shelf, bowls, laundry rack,) lots of old dishcloths and spilt cleaner under sink, and the outdoor pavers are almost black from mould/mildew. There is also no Wifi. Very disappointing for the money paid, we won't be going back unfortunately.
