We love the peace and quiet and the tranquility of having nature all around us. Love the apple trace and we had so much room for everybody to spread out if they needed privacy.
House is located on a beautiful lake. Great views. Perfect for lake activities. The house is setup nicely however it's a bit old and was disappointed by the level of cleanliness.
View and water amenities were great
The gorgeous views of a beautiful lake community. The house was great for multiple families~we just adore the place. Kids had great time playing games and kicking soccer play around in the yard, also a nice nature walk on a beautiful sunny afternoon for winter time! Definitely would like to go back during summer & enjoy the lake activities and just sit on the dock. So fun & beautiful~thanks!
I loved this spot year around. I live in Seattle so it was so nice to get away from the city and recharge. This house is easy to get to and the view is drop dead gorgeous! There is plenty of parking, and the internet worked great throughout the property so I was able to teach my fitness class right by the water! I loved waking up in a home away from home! I will definitely come back and would recommend and would use for my retreat!
Such a cute place!! We felt so comfortable from the moment we arrived. The fireplace provided such a perfect backdrop for a rainy day. When the skies cleared we took the kayaks out and had a blast! The whole place felt like a retreat. No matter the season, we’ll be back here.
This is my second time staying at this house and it was just as amazing as last time! The neighborhood was SO quiet and peaceful, and the house itself has a very warm and comfortable vibe. We cooked all day long (the kitchen is stocked with appliances/tools/seasonings), had a couple friends over for dinner, and played board games (which are also included at the house), and enjoyed our time. Gorgeous views, and lots to do!!
So many great things to say! It’s beautiful, cozy, plenty of room! You can build a cozy fire! Oh and the view of the lake. My family and I will most definitely coming back! Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
What a gem! I am so glad we found this spot on Lost Lake. They have thought of all the little details you might need while away providing toiletries, beverages, and going above and beyond with entertainment options. There's even an old school video game with two seats and a games table that convets into a poker table. The beds are incredibly comfortable with lots of room and storage space. The view is magic! Pearched on top of the hill overlooking the big old growth trees and little islands on the lake. There is a dock you can swim right off of and they provide kayaks and canoes for you to use. It's an easy paddle around the lake with lots of wildlife. I've stayed here in the winter and in the summer and love both for the perfect getaway. We will be back!
The home is very inviting as soon as you park. As I walked into the home and looked to my left, I saw the lake and a neighbor waiving hello. Nice way to start. The house is an open concept with a nice fireplace and a deck overlooking the lake. The basement is great, equipped with games and a comfy couch. The lake itself is calm and gorgeous. Overall, the property was well maintained, clean, and equipped with games as well as kayaks if you choose to go on the water. I highly recommend this lakefront home.
Great home for family. Lots of games and activities to do . We stayed in winter so too cold for water sports , but would come back for summer stay.
We had a great time celebrating on the lake side. We dove off the dock, rode in the kayaks, barbequed our meals and kept warm at night toasting smores in the fire pit. It was perfect for the family, we enjoyed how spacious it was and the lovely views from both decks. We will definitely be referring friends and coming back to stay!
So many reasons why you should book this lake house! The layout was amazing, can easily hold up to 12 people, completely and beautifully furnished, with many amenities. The location was perfect - seemed private, but with an incredible view from the gorgeous sun room, patio, OR down on the dock. Kayaks and floaties are included. Neighbors are very quiet. Bonus - the neighborhood dog may come visit you!! Super sweet. One of the best lake house experiences I've had. Already booked it again for the holidays!
Great experience. The house had everything promised and more. Very relaxing.
From the moment we arrived we felt the natural charm of this home. The apple tree was loaded with fruit, the roses were in bloom, even a bunny hopped over the lawn seeking the deepest green to munch on. While the locked entry was on the lakeside, it was nice to have the key lockbox in an enclosed porch, near the kitchen entry where we could safely set our first load of luggage and groceries. The amazing location of the house became apparent as we wandered down the outside steps in search of the locked entry. Suddenly the lake and island, came into view. It was a panorama of Pacific Northwest evergreens. Spruce, Doug Firs, & Hemlocks stood like sentinels around the lake & on the island. We began to understand why it was called a treehouse. It was our 59th anniversary! We spent a few days with family, and for the rest of our visit we focused on being alone, & at peace. We watched ducks, eagles, & fishermen. Thanks to a friendly neighbor, my husband learned to kayak. And me? I just loafed and tried to think of a way to share the quiet restorative beauty of this place with others. Many thanks to our hostess for sharing her lovely tree house with us. We hope to return soon. Pat M
We loved the fact that this home accommodated my 1 1/2 grandson and my 28 year old son with disability (except the stairs part). The amenities of the home had everything that we needed. The activities such as having the canoe , kayaks, floaters, life jackets, chairs, firewood , and for ALL ages. In our group we had age 1 to 50 years of age It was non stop activities from 6 am coffee Conversations on the Deck AND at the dock . Able to grill our dinner, roast our hot dogs for lunch over the firepit, roast marshmallows in the evenings , swimming from 8am to 8 pm at night!! Such a perfect weekend for me and my 4 children and grandson!! We will be back again!!
