Waterfront Escape on Eagle Mountain Lake

This property is beautiful and the hosts are fantastic and so easy and kind to work with. We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the lovely surroundings and quiet comfort of this home. 10/10!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with the friendly faces of the owners. They were details in showing us around the property. It was very obvious they put a lot of work into their home and they were proud to show it off (rightfully so!). The property was immaculate and the home was comfortable and clean. This was the perfect rental for our event.

Beautiful property with all the necessities for a great stay! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, video games and all of the TVs for watching college football! The beds were comfortable and the house and property were very clean. Kim and Chris met us upon arrival and gave us the tour, were super kind and available to answer questions. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely vacation home. The place and grounds were beautiful. The hosts are very friendly. They greeted us at the door and they were very responsive all weekend.

Excellent property - very clean and exceptional hosts. We had a ladies trip for a friend's birthday and it was perfect. They even welcomed us with mimosas and a basket of s'mores supplies! A very short drive for any essentials in Azle and not much further to enjoy the stockyards. We were easily able to Uber to Ft. Worth by booking in advance.I recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags if you plan to cook/grill at the house as well as more towels if you'll be in and out of the pool throughout the day(s).

We were in town for our daughter's wedding and needed something special. Waterfront Escape did not disappoint and in fact, went beyond our expectations. Kim was very responsive and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The property was super clean, inviting and stocked with everything needed. Will definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit the Fort Worth area. Thank you Kim and Chris!!

The home was beautiful. My family and I had an amazing time. House had everything we needed, the pool was spectacular along with separate hot tub. The views of lake are breathtaking with the sunrises and sunsets.

The place was amazing the pool, patio, and dock to fish was the best. This place looks more amazing in person. Chris and Kim were great host and yes, you do need a tour of the house because everything is updated and electronic, there are so many features. Don’t forget to ask about the fire feature in the pool, looks like a resort at night. Communication was great by text with a fast response every time we had a question on how something worked. We had an awesome time celebrating our birthdays here. We also caught some big fish. BTW we left our legacy there with the new highest Pac-Man score on their arcade machine!! We will definitely be coming back. 2 days was not enough.

12/24/23-booked this reservation & asked to use dock for my boat.Host returned message-did not address dock.4/7/24-booking updated to 10 adults by host. 4/15-I replied & indicated that I would like to have more people come & go & again inquired about dock.5/2 and 6/2 tried to follow up.6/5-host responded boat dock not available & property limited to 10 guests total at any time.Wanted to cancel-would have lost 50% of the fees so continued with booking. Timely response by host would have allowed full refund.Met by the hosts upon arrival. Hosts used their boat/dock during our stay. This was inappropriate.Pool lights on timer & go off at 11 PM.Property is gated & the hosts provide 1 proximity sensor app to open gate-it cannot be shared.Thermostat was LOCKED, and one evening reached 80 degrees inside.Cameras mounted around property & received no less than 4 complaints.Felt like we were being watched.Complaints ranged from noise to pool floats against the neighbor’s fence.Music was just loud enough to hear in the pool.Cooler leaked clean ice water onto dining room rug as we packed up. Dried up water & peeled back the rug to let it dry. Less than 4 hours after checking out, received email from CSA Travel Protection notifying me of property damage claim. Included rug replacement-$468 (from clean water), drywall & stain removal at dock-$317(we didn’t use it),& arcade machine-$584.NONE of these things were damaged & this was fraud. I do not appreciate dishonesty & be forewarned.

This was the absolute best VRBO I have ever stayed in!! My friends and I get together once a year for a friends reunion and this house met and exceeded every need we had. The supplies and furnishings were clean and well-maintained. The pool, deck and view were amazing. The home was beautiful and beds were comfortable. Communication with Kim and Chris was excellent.
