The house was so beautiful and set up for guests with every need considered. Our hostess was quickly responsive to questions and provided accurate information. Location was easy to get to, and even though we had very cold weather we were able to enjoy the patio amenities.

The house was perfect for our ladies retreat! We just stayed at the house, relaxed, had a chef the entire time and a masseuse one day. Fantastic getaway -Staycation (we all live in Fort Worth)!Thank you!

The Lazy Longhorn is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake. The layout accommodated our sibling reunion perfectly, providing space for gathering as well as quiet time. The kitchen is fully appointed & spacious with extra room to prepare & enjoy meals without crowding. The dining area was great for long lingering breakfasts full of good conversation.Each bedroom is nicely arranged and the beds & pillows very comfortable. Each bathroom is bright, clean and included hand soaps and hair dryers. The provided towels are soft & absorbing.The patio is great with a beautiful clean pool and the hot tub easily accessible. We especially appreciated the pool towels at the door. The patio furniture is comfortable and the grill was perfect for a quick BBQ dinner.The bunkhouse is quite nice, with comfortable bed and very good bathroom. There is plenty of on-site parking as well.Communication with the owner and management team was prompt & friendly, and they quickly addressed questions or problems. For example, we requested extra blankets and a member of the housekeeping staff promptly arrived and provided them.During our stay (May 2025), we learned that a few updates were planned for the kitchen so suggest confirming that all appliances are functional. The house rules are reasonable. You may wish to query when trash pick, lawn maintenance and pool maintenance are scheduled.Overall: My family and I highly recommend The Lazy Longhorn for your stay!

Fabulous property with an abundance of amenities! Our group (ranging in ages from 3 yrs to 70-somethings) wanted to stay longer than 4 nights! The view of the sunrise over the lake was spectacular!

My family and I stayed here for Easter Weekend and the house was beyond perfect. Amazing backyard, the house was gorgeous and immaculate. We loved it so much and want to rent it again in the Summer and stay longer!!!

The house is everything they say it is. The location is a little remote, but that just enhances your trip. We have 11 50 year old friends and there was plenty space for all of us. We had a couple small issues with the appliances, but the owner and team were available and assisted immediately.If my group decided to head to Texas again, we would definitely rent this property again.

I wanted to express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Longhorn. The lakefront view was stunning, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the rooms were both comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was truly a wonderful experience.I will certainly recommend the Lazy Longhorn to others and hope to return for another visit soon. The hospitality and helpfulness were greatly appreciated. Great site to disconnect for a couple of days from busyness of life & ministry and focus on planning next year's calendar & events. One of us fancies themselves as a chef and LOVED the chef's kitchen and cooking amenities.

The house was great! It exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fantastic, and the outdoor space was beautiful. We had a wonderful girl's weekend there, and would be happy to book again in the future.

We were beyond impressed. It is exactly as advertised and we would be thrilled to come back over and over again. Perfectly accommodated our group of eight for a work retreat.
