DFW Modern Farmhouse Getaway Retreat Near Stockyards, Weddings and Lake

Was a great house for our extended family. Walking distance to the lake.

This is a great little stay. Our host was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. The house is cozy and comfortable with a nice size fenced backyard. I appreciated the modern, well lit family/ kitchen and bath areasWie will definitely use this again.

I absolutely Love this home and the owner Jonathan. This was the 3rd time my family has rented this Beautiful home. It is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping and restaurants. Jonathan is an amazing host. His home will always be my DFW area first choice.

This was my first trip to Texas. We went for my bachelorette trip. This house was clean, just the right distance from the stockyards. Plenty of things near this house. It’s in a very nice quiet neighborhood! The host was very communicative and made our trip extremely easy! I would definitely stay here again!!

The house is very nice, very clean, and comfortable. The appliances are new, nice quality, which was appreciated since we cooked several meals. The neighborhood is an older, established area, and the folks we came across were friendly. There are several nice parks and a lake close by that we took the kids. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We were in Azle for our son’s wedding at The Orchard, only a few minutes’ drive from the VRBO property. The layout was great for our extended family to have dinner on the day after the wedding. The location, rooms, backyard, washer/dryer, refrigerator were wonderful. The supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods were inadequate compared with other VRBO properties we have stayed in. Normally we have found adequate supplies for our entire stay. The bed in the room with the en suite bath was very uncomfortable: too soft and makes noise with every movement. The kitchen had a good quantity of corelle plates and flatware but minimal pots & pans. We did enjoy our week-long stay and we were extremely happy to be so close to the wedding venue.

The house is set up for a comfortable family visit. The beds were comfortable. The livingroom was set up for conversation. Everyone enjoyed the fireplace. The bathrooms delivered plenty of hot water and pressure. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had the basics. The backyard view was very relaxing. . Great neighborhood. The house was decorated well but not over the top- just what I like. Especially important. The house was extremely clean.

I brought my daughter to TX to go wedding dress shopping and we stayed at Jonathan's beautiful home. Couldn't have asked for a better host! Thank you so much for making this special day even more memorable!

Great place! Easy to get to and plenty of space for us.

Overall my husband, my adult daughter, and myself enjoyed this home very much. It’s clean, nice area, and furnished and supplied with basic necessities very well. The only negative was the kitchen/living area had a sliding glass door which had no blinds or curtain covering. So when evening came or before the sun came up and the lights were on, the homes behind us could see in perfectly if they wanted to. That made us uncomfortable !!!Lastly, I tried to contact the owner prior to staying about a question of the type of coffee maker this home had so I could bring coffee pods, but I got no response. It does have a nice coffee pot, but regular grounds must be used.

We had an amazing stay during our family trip to Azle! The home was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed: towels, soap, trash bags, pots, pans, blankets, etc. Our host was responsive and respectful. We wish we could stay extra nights because of how much we enjoyed it. Thanks!

The house was nicely remodeled and had good use of space. Azle is a country town but this house is closer to grocery stores and food. The owner was very responsive and nice. The rooms were nice sizes and could easily fit a few people in multiple rooms.

Great place to stay in Azle. 12 mins from Springtown. We have family in Springtown and needed and nice place close by. Thank you very much for the quick response on the small issues we had! Everything worked out nicely!
