Waterfront cabin with dock on Hayden Lake

Pros: wonderful view of lake, location, and home suppliesCons: electrical wiring (fuse went out), no dry wood for fireplace or fire making supplies, and steep stairs

The setting is beautiful. The cabin is not fancy but clean and is as described.

We enjoyed the cabin and lake. There were only two of us, and it was quite comfortable. Over the week we were there, we experienced sunny days, rainy days and a wonderful early morning fog wafting over the lake. Diana was responsive throughout our stay, for a minor inconvenience we incurred. We enjoyed the area, Coeur d’Alene for lunch, whitewater rafting on the Clark Fork river, BBQ at the cabin and several great restaurants in the surrounding area. All good from our perspective…It was a wildlife extravaganza! The gaggle of geese made for lively conversations.

Beautiful little cabin, comfortably fit two adult couples. Plenty to do on and off the property.

We left a note for you on the kitchen counter - last load of towels and sheets were in the laundry except a towel in each bathroom, plus the dishwasher should have had clean dishes as we filled and started it before we left.Your note stated that the boat house had a lock with a combination. There was no lock with a combination on the boat house, plus the door was off its rollers so we tried to fix it as best possible.The downstairs bathroom sink could probably use some Drano as it was clogged when we got there. We couldn't find any Drano or any unclogger, so it still needs something.Unfortunately, the WiFi for our phones didn't work well, although another family member had an I-phone and he had service all the time. Thankfully we were able to use his phone, but would have been without contact at all if he had not been there.I'm sorry to have a lot of negatives here, because we did enjoy our time there with the paddle boards, canoe, etc. We left an extra toy that can be pulled behind a boat as our family members have outgrown it. We also left a small electric hand mixer that we hope is helpful for others.Hopeful too that the way down to the beach will be fixed, as that was just a tad interesting as we made our way down with the crumbling platform near the boathouse, etc.

The location on the lake is perfect! The kitchen and the deck are terrific and served our needs well. We would definitely stay here again.

The family had a nice time at the house. We enjoyed getting out on the lake with the provided kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats. Great views from the balcony. The only thing I would say is if you are considering this property for a vacation, be advised getting down to the lake from the property is not easy. If you are elderly or have young kids, it is not an easy climb. Not a problem for us, but something you should be aware of. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

We loved the private beach (with water toys provided), the quiet location, and amazing views from the deck. The host was a great communicator and the cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
