Located besides the upper Clutha River in Albert Town, Wanaka. Our terraced townhouse is perfectly located and located just 5 minutes drive from central Wanaka and half an hour from Treble Cone and Cadrona Ski Fields. An ideal spot for all seasons.

With all the comforts of home, you'll also enjoy the local patisserie for freshly brewed coffee and delicious pastries, tavern, takeaway and mini-supermarket at your doorstep.

The space
Modern open plan living, half bathroom and laundry down stairs. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs - the master has a comfortable queen sized bed, while the other bedroom can be configured with either a king-size bed or two single beds (let the host know your preference). There is air-conditioning throughout the home to make your stay super comfortable in winter or summer. In winter you can also relax by the fireplace with your favourite beverage in hand. There is also a fully fenced yard and patio area to enjoy your morning coffees or a drink in the afternoon.

    Quite, close to Wanaka. Easy to find. Well stocked supermarket close and good pub. Only suggestions put in book of instructions where to find switches to turn on hob and oven. We were very happy with our stay. Great heating.

    Our experience was disappointing from the start. The host wasn't responsive, and we had to contact VRBO CS before receiving any reply. We chose this unit because it looks modern from the photos.The property is part of the Alpine Junction Townhomes, a development with 20 identical two-bedroom units. The property seems to be managed by someone named Kayla, based on the booklet we found in the unit. We never received any treats like what the listing mentioned. Aesthetically, the townhome is nice. However, the design and layout are impractical:In the kitchen area, if someone is at the table, the fridge door will hit the person. People coming down the stairs cannot walk past as everything is tight. The bathrooms are the biggest issue. The upstairs sink is poorly designed and placed in such a way that it is easy to bump your forehead while brushing teeth. The downstairs guest bathroom has so little clearance that your knees hit the cupboard. The air conditioner sits awkwardly in the hallway which doesn't cool down the rooms. One has to keep the door opened which eliminates privacy when you're traveling with others. Lastly, the assigned parking space is nice but could be a tripping hazard when accessing it. There was a large vehicle that blocked our entry and the surface was uneven. Oh the bedsheets sheets had detergent powder residue.

    Just what we needed for a week on Cardrona. Nice hosts and plenty of good info. Really handy having all the little Albert Town shops and eaterys on the door step. Definitely recommend.
