Stayed Apr 22, 2025We stayed in Golconda, Illinois because family lives there. We visited Paducah, Kentucky which is about a 30-45 minute drive. Cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex.

Stayed Apr 6, 2024I was packing my car getting ready for the 6 hour drive to the rental and received messages on Vrbo that morning that Vrbo had double booked the unit and that the unit was given to the other party. I booked this rental in February 2023 and don’t understand how they never noticed this problem. I was offered a different smaller unit without any adjustment to the cost. I felt like the owner rented it to someone else to get more money due to the eclipse. I am waiting for my refund, supposed to be on its way to my bank. I was very disappointed and don’t understand at all.

Stayed Apr 26, 2022River Roost was a great place to stay. It was cute, the property managers were very responsive. It is a place I would highly recommend.
