Shawnee Pines Lodging - #2 Cute Studio

Everything was perfect!

Everything was there that we needed except we forgot soap, but managed to find some. The king bed was so comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. It was very clean too. We loved having a campfire and a cozy place to come back to after long days out hiking.

I can't recommend this property enough. There are three cabins to rent on the property plus their home. The pond is kind of situated in the middle and it was perfect for our kids and dogs. Our cabin (the studio option) was exactly what we wanted. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook/cook out over the camp fire. We used the charcoal grill one evening and we loved sitting on the back deck watching our kiddos play. Tommie was more than accommodating and made us feel right at home. It does seem a bit off the beaten path but it just depends what your plans are. We went to Dixon Springs State Park, Lake Glendale, Hogg Hollow Winery and the Chocolate Factory, all within reasonable distance. I felt safe and comfortable our entire stay and would recommend again and again. We can't wait for our next free span of a few days to come hang out and Shawnee Pines again!

This place was just what we were looking for! The remote location was so peaceful, yet was close to so much the Shawnee area has to offer. We hiked some of the beautiful trails and made the short drive to Metropolis and Paducah. We're already talking about what we want to do next time! This studio served as the perfect home base and had everything we needed. It's also a wonderful place for relaxing with a good book on the deck or by the pond. Definitely recommend.

This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint it is clean and even has all the amenities that you need. The owners are so nice and prompt when you have any questions. My husband and I needed a weekend away without WiFi to just enjoy each other and this place was just that. We will be back for sure.

We had a nice relaxing stay. We stayed two nights after traveling for days. So we just relaxed, enjpyed the pond and slept.

This was an excellent family vacation with our children and grandchildren. The cabins were beautiful and perfect accommodations for all of us. The family loved fishing and swimming in the pond at the end of a day hiking and biking the trails in the different forests. Found a local photographer that did family pictures of our family in a park by the waterfall and lake. Absolutely perfect vacation in this amazing VRBO. We recommend this location to everyone and we will be back.

The location is a bit out of the way but soooooo worth the drive!!! The property is pet friendly, beautiful, serene and very relaxing! Highly recommend Shawnee Pines Lodging!!

We got there Friday night, the cabin was clean and welcoming. Even though we didn’t hang out in the yard the pond and other areas were nice. Communication with owners was very good since before we booked the cabin and trough out our stay.

When we first headed out to our Studio. It felt way out there. But it was beautiful area and it was nice to be out away from the Hustle and Bustle of the quilt week activities. It was perfect accommodations for us! WiFi was a bit slow for TV the first night but after that worked perfect. Supplied everything we needed! Nice big sitting area! Big TV screen ! 2 great recliners! As we were exhausted after the show and Travel!! So Perfect!!

Stayed a few of the first days of our kids spring break. Good location to visit a few of the attractions in a loop and be back at the property. Thanks
