Good, safe, location within walking distance of restaurants and all sites. It is a historic property so be prepared for very steep winding stairs to a third floor bedroom. All bedrooms were very comfortable and nice sizes. The one bathroom on the second floor was a little disappointing for a three bedroom place. But, as I said it’s a historic property so part of its charm is its coziness. The kitchen was newly renovated and very nice. We had a great time and enjoyed the neighborhood!

The place was mostly fine. We encountered a section of window that had fallen open but was not intended to open and the third floor bedroom was sweltering hot upon arrival. I reached out to the listed hosts and received a prompt reply. A third individual came to the house and taped a trash bag over the opening in the window, while simultaneously taping the bottom part of the window into an open position instead. This was technically an improvement due to the screen but defeated the purpose of trying to keep the room cool. I redid the tape left by the handyman so the window could close. But then I received a text the next morning from a third phone number, not listed as a one of the hosts, saying I'll be swinging by the property at some point soon to grab something out of the basement. I'll be in and out real quick. I pushed back that this felt unusual and we were all gone to our conference for the day so had time to protect our privacy ahead of the unexpected visit. My staffers are women and I didn't think they would appreciate a strange man having access to their personal belongings. He replied he wanted to grab laundry because he is going out of town. Once I learned the third phone number belonged to the guy who came to tape the window I told him to go ahead. But the whole experience was unnerving. I didn't realize we were renting the home from a company that manages 20 properties. I will look for carefully next time.

Great place to see if you like walking to all kinds of neighborhoods. This three floor home is clean as can be. Yes the winding staircase is steep by these ol' folks managed with ease and a smile. Beds are great. The ice maker must be broken, but the hosts provided a bag of ice to keep us happy. I always like when a place has coffee, but because there wasn't any, we found terrific coffee houses near by and went home with some teats. Great hosts.

We came into town for the NCAA Wrestling tournament. We needed something close to the broad street line to get us to fine dinning between sessions. This place fit the bill perfectly. Walking distance to tons of great restaurants (& Angelo’s). Everything was great. Clean, all the amenities. I highly recommend.

Booked for a long weekend to show my friends the city. - Location was UNMATCHED and is walkable to many restaurants and sights. - Home was clean and well-stocked with necessities. - Stairs are a little steep, but that is to be expected in an older home like this and they’re padded to help with stability. Owners also added a soft light for after dark maneuvering.- Owners were quick to respond, communicative, and welcoming throughout booking and the stay.

This house was in such a close location to so many restaurants and activities, which was great! Parking garages were nearby for those driving in, and the home was very clean, easy to check into and a great overall vibe!

We had a great time in this extremely clean cozy 3 Bedroom townhouse. The kitchen is great. Please note that the table only seats 3 so you may need to bring additional chairs for a larger group. The HVAC works well. There is only 1 bathroom and the bathroom is on the middle level. The spiral staircases are rather steep and narrow so the townhouse would not be ideal for anyone with a handicap or for very young children or for older adults. I would caution against very large suitcases as well. It was hard enough Carrying our carry on roller bags up. There are parking garages nearby if you have a car and Whole Foods and Acme are a short walk. Location of the Townhouse was great - with regard to being able to walk anywhere in downtown Philly.
