Walkable Wilmington Home Near Historic District

Overall we had what we needed for our stay, however there were some things that left us disappointed! We were there over Thanksgiving so the kitchen was quite important. There was no cutting board and the knives were not suitable for preparing a meal. The dishwasher isn't attached to the cabinet so when you open the drawers the dishes fall out into the floor. The outside kitchen is nice but it was very dirty and there were boxes being stored in it so we couldn't use it at all. There was an issue with the heat that was never resolved during our stay there. Regardless, we enjoyed our visit and the location was very good. We could walk to the waterfront and had good access to restaurants, etc.

Loved the location and setup. Backyard is the icing on the cake!

The house was ok. I think my opinion is a little tainted by the experience we had during our stay. The 1st day when we arrived, the monitoring system was beeping, signaling there was smoke alarm in the house that had a low battery. I notified the property manager immediately. By the next morning, the smoke alarm itself was beeping along with the monitoring system. We were gone most of the day but I was assured that the problem would be taken care of. When we came back to the house on the 2nd day, we were told someone came by and replaced the battery, but the monitor was still beeping, signaling there was a smoke alarm in the house with a low battery. By the next morning, (day 3) there was a smoke alarm beeping as well as the monitoring system (again!). I was assured the problem would be taken care of and I would be compensated for my inconvenience. The beeping continued the entire 5 days and I have yet to receive compensation for our inconvenience.

Great vacation home. Just a bit away from busy downtown, yet still so close to e verything. Very clean, great space, fully equipped with everything we needed and then some. Owner very responsive. Would absoltely stay here again!!

This home is located only a few minutes from everything you you want to do in downtown Wilmington. The host has thought of every single detail that you’ll need for an extended stay away from home. I will definitely be staying here each time I visit.

Very nice, looks like everything was recently renovated. The backyard area is great! Despite having some rain during our stay the covered areas in the yard allowed us to still hang out and grill out for dinner. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to tons of restaurants, bars and breweries but far enough away that it is quiet once you get back to the house. Angel from Evolve was awesome and super responsive if I needed anything. I would definitely stay there again!!

2 colleagues & I stayed - attending a conference The 1st night was warm upstairs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Next evening we got back late & it was 79F upstairs - A/C was not working. Slept with fans on all night but still hot. Temp rose to 82F. Tech was sent next day but AC not repairable until after we were to leave My help contact was excellent & kept me informed We moved to a hotel & spent last night there I got a full refund no problem from Evolve Have not received $156 VRBO refund

This property was a terrific choice especially for 3 couples. Unit has been totally redone throughout. 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths was a must. All rooms were comfortable and clean. Wonderful backyard area that could accommodate much larger party. Location to downtown including the USS NC battleship made it a perfect getaway.
