We loved the cottage, its closeness to downtown Meredith and opportunity to bring our dog, Sharon was wonderful to work with, and we definitely appreciated the extra touches - flowers, brownies, and dog biscuits for our pup! The property was very clean, and they provided great towels, lots of supplies (coffee, sugar, shampoos, soap, TP, dog bowls & bed, etc.). We also enjoyed the gas stove during our cool spring weekend stay. I took a star away because of the location, which is between an abandoned and rundown car repair shop and parking lot.

Overall the stay was great and the owner was very nice with excellent response time to questions etc. My only constructive feedback is the cleanliness of the downstairs bathroom upon check-in (found hair in the sink), Also, there was a remote with dead batteries and the upstairs loft light's bulbs were out. Maybe a bit more checking on these type of things.Having said that, I loved the property overall and would easy stay there again - awesome location.

The Meredith Cottage is an exceptional find! The cottage is located within walking distance from Main Street, local shops and restaurants. Additionally, the host has thought of all the amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom among others. The host was easy to speak to throughout our stay. Lastly, Meredith is a lovely lake town 30 minutes from Gunstock Ski Resort for winter fun.

This was one of the best experiences of renting through VRBO. The property was beautiful with every amenity possible. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating overall.

The special extra touches throughoutthat Sharon provided were unexpected, amaking and so appreciated. You couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay or a nicer host. If we head to Meredith again, we will be asking to stay here w/o a doubt!.

The cottage was very nicely appointed. We enjoyed time with family and friends and were able to cook and enjoy each others company. The location is fabulous to walk to restaurants , the lake, and shopping! We had everything we needed for the week away from home!

Seamless process! The house was spotless with lots of extras. It was well supplied and close to several restaurants and shops. Wish I had been able to stay in this property for a longer period of time, but were swinging through multiple states on our trip.

This Home blew us away with cleanliness, accessibility, beautiful decor. Home had everything we could possibly need. Excellent proximity to Mills Falls shopping area in Meredith Harbor. I would have no problem renting from this property owner. We were super impressed.

Very clean, great communication with the host, very pet friendly, and the location was within walking distance to a shops, restaurants, activities, Trails, and basically everything you would want to do. Short driving distance to even more activities and things to. We even rented a boat and went around the lake for a couple of hours.

Everything about this house and location was perfect! The hosts attention to detail was impeccable, from the fresh flowers to the candy bars for each girl. They made us feel right at home. My favorite part was that it was SUPER clean, always so important. It was the best Vrbo experience that we've ever had and we're definitely planning to come back!

A beautiful modern home. The kitchen was supplied with all we needed and welcomed us with brownies, salt water taffy and dog bones. Although it is located on a main street, it was a perfect little get a way home. Cute back yard and the landscaping and flower boxes added to the home. Fresh flowers were in all the rooms which was a lovely touch. The bathrooms were large and showers had great rain sprays. The communication with the owner was great! Answered questions promptly. We were there to attend a wedding so we did not take advantage of all the attractions nearby. Wished we thought to stay longer to do this. We would definitely return if we are the area again!

It was a great quiet place. The backyard is very excellent for my toddler. We made BBQ while playing music and nobody complained. We found almost everything we needed including baby high chair. I just wish the beds were a little bigger. The house is right in the town there are so many stores nearby. For instance, Hannaford is 3 minutes drive. The restaurant is just walkable with a nice view. The location of this house our expectations!

This home is beautiful with extreme attention to detail and comfort. The host was exceptional! She called me personally before my stay to talk about the house and area, providing great recommendations for activities and dining options. This is also included in the check in instructions but felt so much more personal to speak directly with her. We traveled to Meredith for a ski trip at Gunstock and this home is definitely a must for your next trip!

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this adorable Meredith cottage. The property was meticulously clean and was exactly what we were anticipating based on the description and the pictures. We came up for a quick weekend Gunstock ski adventure and had a great time sitting in the cozy living area in front of the gas fireplace and loved the cottage’s central location. Sharon was wonderful. She was very fast to respond to any questions and gave us several great recommendations for places to eat. We recommend George’s diner for breakfast and we had a wonderful dinner at Lago!We look forward to making this a yearly trip!Katharin and Abby

Cottage was quaint, clean, charming —exactly as describe. Easily walkable to shops and the lake. Sharon was quick to respond and easy to communicate with— very attentive.

We did a 2 night getaway with our 3 teenagers and had a wonderful time! Sharon stayed in touch throughout the process. When we arrived everything was spotless. There were so many welcoming touches, including treats for our dog, fresh floral arrangements and yummy brownies!A beautiful well appointed kitchen that was a pleasure to cook in. So many rentals have dull knives and worn out pans etc.The location was great for walking to shops and the lake, however if you’re looking for total quiet this isn’t your place. It’s on a busy road, although set back from the street and a large driveway for parking. The backyard has plenty of privacy although we didn’t use it since it was winter time.

We had a great stay at this adorable cottage in Meredith. Sharon called ahead to introduce herself, let me know they were ready for us, and to tell me when we would get all of the details we needed. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed! It was like a home and a hotel at the same time. We loved everything about the place and will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay at Meredith Cottage this past weekend. Sharon is such an excellent host, she is friendly and super responsive in communicating and she goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The cottage itself is gorgeous, everything is new and fresh, the layout is perfect. It is rare to find a short term rental that is so beautifully decorated and has so many personal touches. We loved discovering the treats for our dog, the treats for us, the drinks fridge, fresh flowers everywhere, the fall decor outside, all the little ways Sharon has thought to provide a lovely experience for her guests from baby to older adult! The backyard is nice to sit out and convenient for a dog or kids, and we walked to everything in Meredith, the lake is right across the street. We will be back!
