Stayed May 22, 2026Perfect location for walking to King St, rainbow row, French Quarter, Battery Park. Many coffee shops, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Short drive to Sullivans Island/beach, Mt Pleasant, Isle of Palms and Boone Mansion. Hosts were very attentive Felt like home I suggest you bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper or not use to traffic noise I slept well and was not bothered by the traffic noise

Stayed Mar 25, 2026Very nice and clean, but not luxurious, It had everything we needed. It was nice having a washer dryer in the house. It had a few patios that were small, but no views. Beds were soft and comfortable. IWater pressure and temperature were not that great. Two things that the owner has no control of:With lots of row homes very close together and rentals had parties. The neighbors floodlight shines right in the bedroom window all night.

Stayed Mar 6, 2026Such a roomy space for four adults! We enjoyed the two level living with bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, .., should you choose to cook. We appreciated the lovely bottle of wine and cookies. Communication was great. Must recommend some sort of ear plugs for sleeping as it gets very noisy at night from the traffic on 26 W.

Stayed Oct 30, 2025Over-priced. The doors did not close properly. None of the door knobs turn. The bed sagged. The best feature is the proximity to King St, but the neighborhood has a lot of construction nearby and seems a bit run down.

Stayed Oct 1, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. Space was very clean and spacious. I particularly liked that each bedroom had it's own bathroom and balcony. There is also a lovely covered deck where I enjoyed having breakfast. The neighborhood is quite noisy, mainly due to the close proximity of the freeway. But I felt the positives far outweighed that negative. The noise didn't really bother us much, but I could see that being an issue for some. I loved that we were so close to all of the things we wanted to do. Most of the attractions we wanted to see were a 15 minute drive or less. And when we did go further away, the entrance to the freeway was 2 blocks away, so that was quite convenient as well. Overall I would highly recommend this property. It is well kept, and conveniently located.

Stayed Apr 16, 2025I have stayed in Charleston at much nicer properties for better pricing. This property says the price per night and then just before checkout adds lots of extra fees. I don’t love that way of listing but it was Easter weekend and not much available.Very noisy as it is right next to highway and the ac in the main bedroom is super loud!Additionally a cat or dog used the driveway as a place to poop and I reached out to host to tell them & they said they have never had that problem vs remedying it. Each night we had to gingerly walk around the mess.I typically don’t post negative reviews but all in all I would not recommend this spot.

Stayed Apr 3, 2025The property was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen looked to have been recently upgraded. However, its right next to the highway so the traffic is pretty loud. The road and driveway are tiny, so parking was a little tight. The neighborhood is quite nice with lots of local spots to eat and shop.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025What a great trip! If we had needed anything additional or had any concerns/problems, we knew exactly who to contact. I was receiving texts with information up to, during and after the trip. Truly a spacious place, not far from King and easy to find. Must be doing something right if your guests have everything they need for their stay! We could hear the neighbors briefly when they returned home late in the evening/ early morning, but the sound machine was a quick fix. There was some construction nearby that started about 7:30 am but tolerable with sound machine. The beds were so comfortable and after exploring all Charleston has to offer, we found it easy to sleep. Perfect for us. Can’t wait to book another visit.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025The place is bigger than expected with a great hangout area on the main floor. The location is ideal for walking to all the bars and restaurants. The iTrip team communicated well with all the details before hand which made it easy to just show up and enjoy the city of Charleston.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025We traveled with friends to visit Charleston and review our history lessons. The home is well appointed and centrally located. We especially enjoyed watching Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, as one evening was quite rainy. Loved Delasandros pizza shop. Close and delicious.

Stayed Feb 13, 2025The place was ok, clean, had everything we needed. It is right next to an entrance or exit ramp, and the noise from the trucks was awful! When we got the bill it was almost DOUBLE what we thought it would be! Mostly because they charged a 400 Management fee! Do not stay here!!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024We thought we had found a charming old house for a very good price. Not what we experienced at all. The neighborhood is not “transitional.” It is very rundown and lots of disturbing construction. The porches are old and dirty, even the back entrance porch. Nothing inviting like the pictures show. The furniture is not what is pictured. It is also old and dirty. The noise is not just disturbing for light sleepers. We struggled every night with street and emergency vehicle noise. We actually left a day early because we needed a good nights sleep for our long drive home. We also had been blocked in the driveway for two mornings, one until almost noon. The two stars are for the cleanliness. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. Overall we feel like we were mislead by the pictures and the property description. 10/10 reviews must come from people responding to their email offering a Starbucks gift card.

Stayed Sep 25, 2024This place is exactly as advertised ... roomy downstairs with two bedrooms and two baths upstairs in a great neighborhood! We had everything we needed to explore Charleston and return to comfortable surroundings. Yes, there is some highway noise but not enough to keep us awake. The plus side is that it is easy to get on the highway and easy to get back from visiting plantations, Mt. Pleasant, etc. And we especially loved the neighborhood. Bistronomy at Nico's was so good that we ate there twice. The grocery store across the street from it covered all our needs. And Island Provisions was great for breakfast. We would not hesitate to rent this place again!
