Great location...near restaurants and shops...easy walk to all. Had issues checking in. Door code didn't work and tried to call owner. Called VRBO and they were able to contact the owner and he called and programmed the code again. From there on, the visit was great. Wish there was a bedroom on main floor though..It's definitely difficult for elderly people to climb the stairs. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Bathroom shower room was a good size and nice to have shampoo stocked. Toilet room is small but functional. With all bedrooms upstairs, nice to have those rooms separate. Kitchen was well-stocked. We loved the enclosed front porch...peaceful and great for after dark. AC worked very well...great for an older house. Parking was little tough. Larger SUVs, trucks have to park beside the block building but there is a nice sidewalk to the house. Backyard is lovely...deck with seating was favorite place. Overall, a great house with plenty to enjoy!

This was the perfect location and set-up for our weekend getaway! It was spacious and comfortable. We would most definitely stay there again. We didn’t even have a chance to enjoy the front porch or gather around the fire pit in the backyard…maybe next time ! Would definitely recommend staying here. Great communication from the host the day prior explaining how to check-in and offering great information not only about the house but also great info about surrounding area attractions.

The house was very large, with a big dining room, and two big living rooms. The bathroom shower upstairs is very small, and the other full bath downstairs wasn’t much bigger. We made it work though! The owner was extremely quick to respond to any questions I had and fixed a small issue.

The house is very large with a nice back yard. The kitchen had adequate supplies as did the laundry and upstairs bathroom. I would suggest that housekeeping clear out all personal products from bedroom drawers and maybe not leave all blinds wide open on a hot day. The bed was comfortable. There were some issues with upstairs tv’s and streaming. The location was great.

This home is over 100 years old and has all the character you would expect. It is comfortably decorated both physically and aesthetically. It is just behind Main Street, so it’s convenient to a few good restaurants and just a skip from the Greenbrier. On the flip side of that, it is just off Main Street and commercial traffic can be a bit loud in the morning. It settles down around lunch though so it wasn’t a big deal for us.
