Walk to River & Shops: Downtown Dunnellon Escape

Place was run down and not clean

the house was clearly a very old home that was remodeled. When you enter the front door, the interior smells like mold and dust.they did a good job with the remodel otherwise.my biggest complaint is the yard. it was not inviting. it was overgrown with weeds. they haven't trimmed any plants or trees. if this was halloween, i wouldn't stop there. kind of scary from the outside. Even the front door was filthy and needed a paint job. No way you could use the garage or back yard, with the junk and debris everywhere. Overall, just ok.......I have had rental homes over the years, and I would be ashamed to rent this out in this condition

Our objective in staying was to kayak the Rainbow River. We were lucky. The weather cooperated! We had a comfortable and fun place to stay. Everything was adequate for our family; 4 of us. The layout of the house was great; plenty of room for all.

Cute house. Conveniently located to restaurants and grocery stores. The river not too far away either! Comfy beds with lots of space. We had a nice short visit! We hope to be back:)

This is our second year with my grandchildren - 10, 6 & 12. The layout of the house is perfect for adults and children with a large dog. The fenced in back yard is great for Odie and the surrounding neighborhood is a nice walk to antique shops. Publix, Swampy's and The Blue Run is 5 minutes away. KP Hole and the beautiful Rainbow Springs are 10 minutes. Ginnie Springs a short 50 minutes and Weekie Wachie is 45 minutes. Perfect location! We'll be back in 2026 for another run of the springs.

Very cute. Three good size beds. Lots of thought went into decor, bedding. House is beautiful and very clean. Nice yard for the fur babies. Close to everything

My friends and I had the best time here. It was the perfect amount of space and so close to the springs! Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

The property was as the description described. The location was conveniently located, however the road noise was loud. The property renovations seemed unfinished, could use some cleaning of doors and walls. The mattresses in front and middle bedroom need replaced. The kitchen had a good selection of tools. The yard could use some attention.

Great stay for two nights and close to the river where we rented a boat. It was very clean.

Nicely decorated, beautiful new shower but not conveniently located to a bedroom. The best bed in the house is a double with a tiny bathroom. The middle bed is awfully uncomfortable. No way 8 people could stay here. The patio is a joke the only coffee maker is a Keurig & there are no ice trays — no ice maker either. The new managers are very helpful and eager to please!

We decided we wanted to explore this part of Floria that we were really unfamiliar with even after living here 20 years. We were pleased with everything this RETREAT had to offer. A well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants made this the perfect place to call our home away from home. It was great to be only a short drive to Ocala and Crystal River. We were cozy and happy with this cute vintage property.

Liked the idea of fenced in yard but not the holes in fence. Liked that our dogs (2) could come with us. The 13 1/2 year old loved the warm weather

It was the perfect location, close to all the downtown antique and thrift stores and close to the river. It has an awesome backyard where you can grill and use the firepit. 10/10!
