We had a wonderful stay at this home in the Sea Pines community with our two adult sons and two dogs. The house was spacious, and we loved that everyone had their own bathroom. The lagoon view was beautiful, and spotting an alligator (or 3 in our case) during our stay was actually a fun and memorable experience! The private pool off one of the master bedrooms was one of our favorite features, and we used it almost every day.The location was excellent! It was about a mile from the beach with easy access to the extensive bike trails throughout Sea Pines. We also enjoyed visiting the horse stables and being able to pet and feed the horses, as well as the shops, coffee spots, and pier within the community. My husband, his friend, and our sons especially appreciated the abundance of nearby golf courses.Carol was a wonderful host. She was responsive, communicative, and easy to work with throughout our stay.While the home was very nice in general, a few updates would make it even better. Some of the kitchen cabinets and bedroom furniture felt a bit dated, the living room seating could be more comfortable, and the bedroom pillows which were flat, could use replacing. The bath and hand towels also seemed worn and could benefit from an update.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The location, pool, views, and amenities made for a fantastic Hilton Head Island vacation.

The Rookery was great for our family of 10–6 adults and 4 children, 5 and under. We saw lots of birds from the beautiful patio doors. The kitchen was well equipped and having two washing machines and two dryers made keeping clean towels easy. The beds were very comfortable and the walk in showers were perfect for two people with mobility issues. The pool was the highlight! Everyone had such a great time! The beach was a mile away but still too far for little ones. Use the Sea Pines beach club! Can park right there and the beach is easy access and lovely bar/restaurant area. Carol is super to work with. The house allowed us to have a fabulous family reunion. Thank you Carol!

The house has so much space and a nice comfortable beachy feel with killer views in main living areas. It isn't new nor does it look like HGTV but it's well maintained and perfect if you like comfortable, spacious and lots of details included like an extra refrigerator, two washers and two driers, use of the double garage and the option to heat the pool (for a charge but it was worth it as much as we used it). Carol was great to work with and very accommodating.We brought our little Shih Tzus and it was so nice to be able to take them. I could see no sign any other pup had ever been in the house. This house makes you feel like you can relax b/c it has a lived in family feeling. Our family had a fabulous vacation in this home!

Very nice house. Across the street from the tournament. Easy access to hole 13, 14, & 12. Highly recommend if going to The RBC Heritage.

This place was perfect for our family of seven. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the fact that it was one story was really helpful when traveling with my elderly mother who finds stairs difficult. The backyard was beautiful with a great grassy area overlooking the lagoon. Everything was clean and kitchen was well equipped with an additional drink fridge in the laundry room. Just a Just a short ride to the beach and area, restaurants, etc. Owners were very responsive to all our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time! The house was spacious and laid out very well, plus each room had its own bathroom which was great. The pool was perfect size. The view out back was awesome with the occasional gator swimming by :)

Great location to everything in Sea Pines. Everyone had a great time. Owner is great to work with.

The house was just as described. We usually stay closer to the beach, but found the location by the egret pond a joy to watch all the birds (and alligator) come and go. Carol was a dream to book with. Communication was great throughout. I thoroughly recommend.

We (6 of us: 2 adults, 2 seniors, 2 young teens, and 2 small fogs) come to Sea Pines every year, but we've never found a house that was this comfortable - it's big, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, tons of counter space, lots of places to sit, AND convenient to the beach, AND quiet, AND private, AND it has the most lovely backyard where you can see all sorts of wildlife: so many deer (and fawns!) and egrets, and anhingas, and even a small gator. So relaxing. Its perfect. And, Carol is terrific to work with. I can't say enough good things. We'll be back.

This is a wonderful house! It was perfect for my elderly parents because there are no steps whatsoever. It is very spacious and well equipped in the kitchen. Having the pool is a welcome bonus! The neighborhood is beautiful and the location is convenient to Harbor town or the beach. The host was very easy to communicate with and we would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful property on a pond. Private pool. Large house with Many amenities. We all enjoyed our visit.
