Walk to Lake Sumter Landing! Our Village Gem - 10 Star - w/ Golf Cart

The house was comfortable clean. The location was fantastic! Only a couple minutes drive to Sumpter Square and Winn Dixie grocery store. The private backyard was nice too! I didn’t love having to wash the towels and sheets and put them in the dryer before we left. I never mind putting a load in the laundry prior to leaving but waiting for a load to dry before putting the next load in made us leave later than we would have liked. We appreciated having use of the golf cart when we golfed at Mallory Hills golf course which was very close by.

This property was beautiful well maintained very clean The location is excellent close to Sumter Landing owners provided a golf cart, which is a great added benefit property felt safe. Owner is responded to any questions right away and seems very concerned that I was having the best possible vacation. I appreciate that highly highly recommend this property and owners.

Great property near the heart of the villages. We were able to visit the area via golf cart and enjoyed seeing all the different squares. Would definitely stay again.

The home was extremely clean and comfortable for 4 of us. The host was wonderful to work with. The fenced in yard was an added bonus for our four legged friend, too. Great location with close proximity to Sumpter Landing. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Very nice to have a golf car available for us to use. We only used it once but it was a blast to drive around. We had a small issue when we arrived. I contacted the hosts and within 30 minutes it was resolved. I would definitely stay here again. Loved being so close to Lake Sumter!

The house was very clean when we arrived. They are very pet friendly!! We stayed there 6 nights until we passed papers on our new house in East Port area. The property was a 4 min golf car ride to Lake Sumter. Nice fenced in back yard for our Dobe. He loved the yard and local dog parks. The beds and furniture was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the property and owners. Very easy to contact. Highly recommend staying here.

Property was very clean. Attention is needed to furnishings, lights, and kitchen stove. One thing we did not like was having to wash bed linens ourselves. How can you be sure the previous renter actually washed all the linens or simply just put them in the dryer and turned it on and they appear to be cleaned. Not sanitary in my opinion. This also requires you to get up at the crack of dawn in order to complete a wash cycle and dry the linens prior to departure. I personally, would rather pay a few dollars more in cleaning fee to have cleaning people wash the towels and linens, I have no problem with stripping the beds and leaving linens in the laundry area, as I have done in previous rentals. The mattresses in both bedrooms are tired, need to be replaced. We had to buy a foam mattress pad in order to get some comfort while sleeping, on both beds.

My 6 night stay was perfect. Check-in was easy and the hosts were very responsive around questions / requests. Location was uber convenient to Sumter Landing and the Palmer Legends courses. The Bungalow was stylishly decorated with super comfy beds and plenty of room to hang out and relax. I highly recommend!

Every thing was very comfortable and easy to find. The main bed was amazing. Check in and check out, entry to the property were all very easy and excellent instructions were given for all.

The property was lovely and private backyard. The golf cart was fun and we used the nearby pools. Highly recommend.

Had a short 4 night stay and everything was perfect. Good location for what we wanted to do, place was clean and comfy, and having a golf cart was important for us. Had an issue with door code but owners were responsive and came right over to correct! Highly recommend!

We were in the Villages for about 3 weeks. We have family in the area. This villa was clean, well stocked and great location! The owners were very kind and answered texts quickly! Definitely a prize!!!

Second time we’ve stayed here. Love the location. The owners are responsive; saw us through hurricane Milton. Clean and comfortable.

The only difficulty we had was the fact we had an early flight out and we had to get up super early to wash the sheets and towels. Although, in all fairness I think that had I let them know, they may have said not to worry about it. They were very easy to work with. Would stay here again w/o any hesitation.

The owner was very pleasant to work with and was available pre, post & during our rental. The home was comfortable for 4 adults to relax and visit. Plenty of towels. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The bed in the 2nd bedroom, I was told was not comfortable, but when I checked the bed it seemed soft and quite possibly not supportive for some. The kitchen was fully equipped. We only made breakfast and had everything we needed, the option for drip coffee or Keurig coffee worked out for everyone. The golf cart availability was a plus. However, we didn't use it, as we didn't want to get caught in a rain storm. Enjoyed the close proximity to Sumter Landing/market square. Highly recommend and plan to visit again. enjoyed the

Nice property with a very easy golf cart ride to Sumter Landing!!! My only (but significant) gripe was the request to wash the sheets and towels before leaving the property. 1) This is presumably incorporated in the cost. 2) Who has time for this? I washed the sheets as a courtesy and still waited 20 mins for the wash to finish before we could leave. I would have waited another 40 mins had I washed the towels. Never mind had we used the spare bedroom and had two other loads of sheets and towels. And it was an older washing machine so there was no way to wash sheets and towels together.

My husband and I, along with our dachshund, spent a week at this home in early July 2024. The house was clean, with modern decor and a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The beds and linens were very nice, and the living room furniture was quite comfortable. We also appreciated the YouTube TV for watching local news and weather while there. The location was very convenient for many things, including a grocery store, Lake Sumter Square, and golf courses. And it didn't take long to get to Spanish Springs via gold cart, either. We really appreciated the fenced-in backyard for the dog.
