Walk To Lake Sumter Landing From This Amazing Villa w/Bikes, WiFi, Golf Cart!

House was great! Plenty of space, best stocked kitchen I’ve ever had in a vacation rental, clean, comfy beds and lovely neighbors. The golf cart was great too and the location is fantastically close to Sumpter Square and all of its restaurants and shopping. We struggled to find the family pools we had access too. Where they were, how to access them etc. Didn’t help that high temps were in the low 50s. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect, great location.

Amenities were in good condition. Generous supplies on hand was a wonderful bonus. Sadly, someone put dirty dishes away, i mean not even hand washed. The location was also great to Lake Sumter. The neighborhood was very quiet. The golf cart was a rough ride and the seatbelts need to be reachable. We had to help each other buckle. A 100. replacement would go a long way to making it approachable for seniors.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to be so close to the square so we could take the golf cart or walk to entertainment and restaurants. The security deposit of $1500 is ridiculous and Down Home keeps your money from the time you make the reservation until 2 weeks after you depart. I still haven't received my security deposit back and it's been over 2 weeks since we departed. I won't rent from Down Home again.

This home was perfectly laid out for 4 of us to stay comfortably. Plenty of comfy seating and the kitchen was very well stocked. The location close to the square at Sumpter Landing was great. Plenty of restaurants and fun bands/dancing. Having a golf cart made it so easy to zip to the local pool and also to get to rec centers. I would definitely recommend this home!!

Property was just like in the photos. Loved being able to walk to Sumter Square.

The house was very well appointed, very clean, and very spacious. Yard was spacious and private. Highly recommended. Communication with management was very good. The golf cart and bicycles appeared to be well maintained. It's less than a ten minute walk to Lake Sumter Landing. When deciding on activities, keep in mind requesting golf tee times is four days out and not guaranteed. Also, some activities require safety classes before you can participate and classes are not scheduled weekly. Overall this property location is great for discovering the Villages.
