Stayed Apr 17, 2026The location was great and house was spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there were adequate towels and washcloths per person.However the place was not in top shape. While the paint job looked nice and the on line pictures wer correct, it seemed to be DIY’ed a bit too much. The laundry bifold door fell off and hit me upon opening it. There was no bottom track and it was barely hanging there and the knob can off(it was stripped) and was sharp. There is a insect problem. We encountered many live and dead roaches upon during our stay. You need to spray. The dead bolt doesn’t work on back door. It doesn’t line up. Several doors don’t close all the way and are not level and rub. The back bedroom that was once a garage has the door handle barely hanging on with one screw. The en-suite bathroom door will not open properly when handle turns from inside. The kitchen sink leaks and has glue all over it. The laminate floors have cracks and gaps in it everywhere that catch your bare feet. The right side back bedroom does not have a long enough chain to pull the light on and off in order to sleep with the ceiling fan on. When trying to pull it to turn the light off we were shocked. The bedrooms door handle also has had the lock side jimmied and the hole for a key is jagged and sharp. Need a new door handle. There is also globs of glue on floor and needs to be cleaned. I am in the design and construction business, and if repaired the house would be nice.

Stayed Apr 9, 2026Great location close to downtown Woodstock, maybe a 2 minute drive. The downtown area is great for all ages with common areas for young kids to play and plenty of nice restaurants and retail for adults. The house is exactly as described, very clean and well appointed. Our host was very responsive, check was a breeze. I would highly recommend and plan to stay again when we are in the Woodstock area.
