While on a recent roadtrip we came across an undiscovered jewel in the heart of the Ozarks. Cottage on the Hill in Van Buren, MO. We found the accommodations to be private, comfortable, and very affordable. We really loved how tastefully it was furnished and the use of native woods throughout. Located at the center of the National Scenic Waterways we were able to bike down to the beautiful Current River and the legendary “Big Springs”. Our hostess, Tracy, was a wealth of knowledge with area events, history, and legends. Unlike other B&B’s we have visited, Cottage on the Hill provided an exceptional choice of breakfast entrees, included in the cost of our stay. Definitely worth checking out. It certainly stands apart from the rest! Thank you for our wonderful stay and the wonderful food. We will definitely be coming back.
