Stayed Jun 16, 2021A/C is hard to use and does not function well. The frame for the bunk bed makes really loud noise.

Stayed Oct 18, 2019This is a quaint home that reminded me of my Grandparents house and took my down memory lane. It is in an excellent location just a short walk from downtown. We enjoyed the decor and it was very comfortable. The TV area was unique, but was a little crowded for us.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Perfect location and wonderful base camp. Very cozy and loved the vibe of the bungalow. On the drive up we stopped at Great Lakes Candy Kitchen, Castle Danger Brewing and Palisade Head. The night of our stay we had a short walk into town skipped rocks at the beach then had dinner at Gunflint Tavern. The morning we chose to have breakfast at Blue Water Cafe. Of course we had to get some worlds best donuts down the street as well. Stopped at the book store as the daughter loves reading. Heading home we chose to stop at Black beach and Gooseberry. We thought we needing to replenish some calories so Betty's Pies it was to complete the trip.

It had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The hosts communicated great and I had an amazing time for my first time in Grand Marais. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025We had a comfortable stay for our family of four and the house had everything we needed for a quiet long weekend. The furniture and beds are all comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed to cook. Internet was fast and stable and the neighborhood is quiet. A lovely time.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025My two teenage kids and I recently stayed in this house and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size for our little family and we loved being able to walk to The Angry Trout, Voyageur Brewing, and all the fun stuff in Grand Marais. Our hosts were super accommodating and responsive. The house was very clean and was surrounded with gorgeous foliage including bright orange poppies and fragrant lilac trees. There’s even a tiny waterfall in the creek behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Stayed Jun 16, 2025Great house, great hosts (not on-site), great communication. Quiet location…well during this time of the year during day time hours you will get traffic noise. 2 houses right off 61, but nothing crazy still very quiet, easy to find. With in walking distance to down-town. Trail access is just across 61. Great if you want to unplug for a few days. If you want to watch tv or stream movies bring a tv, depending on situation. Did not see a/c, but during our stay didn’t need it. Night-time in Grand Marais was dead silent, weekends may be louder, I can’t speak to that. Decorating was nicely done. Only used coffee maker, tea pot and some coffee cups in the kitchen. There is some coffee there, we donated a stack of filters as our at home uses a different style, but there was some already there, so plenty to go around. Bring your own sweetener and creamer and coffee if you are particular. We would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed to enjoy our visit to Grand Marais. Nothing negative to say. Flowers and landscaping was very nice.

Stayed Aug 21, 2024This small home was perfect for our family. We were picking up the teen from Menogyn and perched here, we got to experience a bit of Grand Marais, the restaurants, the shore and the donuts! The space is cozy and comfortable and I'd happily stay again.
