Wish I could live here full time!! Spacious, wonderfully appointed, big laundry area, so much was great. And the three- egged goat!!!

Peaceful, welcoming and gorgeous! It’s a little slice of country right next to the city and we had a wonderful time with our little cattle dog, who loved running in the hay field every day.

Absolute paradise if you have a dog! Massive yard for our little guy to run around in and when we asked the owner if he could fix a small issue we saw, he went above and beyond. Five out of five in all facets.

Large fenced field for our dogs to explore. Two dogs on the other side of the fence that our dogs conversed with. Two horses that were not bothered by our dogs' barking. Pretty much a good time all weekend for our dogs!HUGE bathroom. Living room TV is rather small and does not have access to over-the-air channels.

The house was perfect, well stocked and very comfortable. It was hot (for us) in Grand Junction and the house was cooled easily. The hosts were great and gave us good ideas for things to do. Even though we had no pets, they were very pet friendly and accommodates pet owners

We enjoyed our stay at Tres Chivos. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a nice big fenced field for our dogs to run around. The owners let our daughter help brush the horses, pet the goats and hold a goose. She absolutely loved staying there.

This was a perfect set up for our dog and us. Nice fenced in yard for her and a clean little house for us. It was a bonus to be able to do a little load of laundry while we were there. The owner lives next door and made use feel welcome.

We had a wonderful stay here! It’s private, quiet, and beautiful!!! The best part was when we had an issue with the fire alarm at 4 AM and we couldn’t sleep as a result, the owners were jimmy on the spot to repair it and allow us to go back to sleep! After driving for three days, a total of 20 hours - it was SO appreciated. Would 100% stay here again! Oh, and can’t forget to mention the beautiful horses that I got to see!

Spacious! It was enjoyable being close to the resident horses. We were traveling with our dog and the host was very accommodating. We had a mix up (on our part) for part of our booking and the host went above and beyond to help us out!

This place is great and was perfect for a quick trip to explore the area! The owners are very welcoming and the animals were fun to see.

The host responded timely each time we emailed him. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is very well laid out and was comfortable. We are picky about our beds, but the bed met our expectations! Will try to stay again when in area.

The rooms were clean. The bed was super super comfortable. I’ve never interacted directly with host before-but they were both accommodating and friendly. I had no pets but I was able to love on their pets. quiet. Easy in and out. I would absolutely 200% go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tres Chivas. The house was cute and comfortable. We were traveling with our two dogs and they loved running in the large open yard. It was very relaxing sitting outside in the evening. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were responsive to our messages. Dave and Kerry were such great hosts. They were friendly and communicative without being intrusive as well as prompt with any small needs we had. The house is clean and nicely furnished and even on a 100 degree day it stayed pretty cool. Probably the most defining and unique characteristic of this stay were the furry (and feathered) residents combined with Dave's knowledge, passion, and willingness to share it. If you're looking for something in the area and have any interest at all in small farm life this is a great choice. Compared to other vacation rental options in this price range you're going to get a great bang for your buck here. If you have questions, ask Dave! He's the kind of guy who seems happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely property with a GIANT yard and horses! Honestly it was huge just for one person and two dogs, but I had a wonderful time. The check in/out process was easy, and everything was clearly labeled. My dogs had a great time roaming the grass and seeing horses for the first time!

We first stayed at Tres Chivos last year while we were in town for the Nightvision music festival and loved it! So when we saw that it was available this year we jumped at the chance to stay again. Its just such a cute, cozy, quiet place. Very clean and has everything you need. We love the horses, goats and sheep. The owners are so kind! We love it here and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to or through Grand Junction!

My family had a wonderful time at Tres Chivos! My toddler was amazed to get to see a tractor in real life. I was nervous coming during a heatwave but the entire place was kept perfectly cool. Dave was amazing!

Nice little stay. Tucked off main roads and quiet. Exactly as described. A lot bigger inside than we pictured. Didn’t spend much time at the house, but was welcoming and quiet when we were there.

We only slept here so it was fine. If we had decided to hang out and BBQ or anything during the day, I feel the tension between owners dogs and visitors dogs would have been stressful.

The property was located outside of town with lots of room to walk and explore. Everything inside was comfortable and clean. A perfect stay with family or pets! My dog had the best time roaming around the property. Located only 7 minutes from CMU I was able to easily visit my daughter and still feel like I was staying in the country.

We always enjoy our stay at Tres Chivos! Your place is stocked with everything we needed and the location is awesome! I enjoyed seeing the horses out the kitchen window every morning. Tres Chivos was very clean and the shower water pressure perfect! My hubby and I sleep in seperate beds because one of us snores so I stayed on the couch pull out mattress.... It would be awesome to see that replaced with a better mattress. It was painful.. Overall our stay was wonderful!! Thank you so much for your dog friendly accommodations !!!

Great place to stay! We were in town for a family wedding. It was soooo comfortable and the hosts are accommodating and live next door. Hosted a Sunday brunch for some family and they loved it too. This is where we'll stay next time we're in town for an event. Loved it!

Directions were helpful as accessing the location is a little unique. Fun to be able to be in a more rural/quieter part of town, but still be close to everything. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Would have valued ice trays or some way to access ice cubes - as I read there were health reasons not to have already-made ice, but would have been happy to just have trays we could fill or a bag of ice in the freezer. Otherwise, nice location, especially if you like horses as they are your view out the kitchen window!

I was in town with my son for a taekwondo competition. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was such a beautiful location, the animals were adorable, the house was clean, and the bed was even more comfortable than mine at home. Our only compliant is that somehow crickets were getting into the house and were so loud. They woke us up a couple of times each the night. If we do happen to be in the area again, we would love to stay here.

We were so happy with everything this host had to offer! There’s tons of space inside the house and outside on the property. The host is incredibly kind and communicates very well! The animals to see are a big added bonus and I love that we were able to bring our dog as well!

Nice home and very clean. The owner is super friendly and thoughtful offering everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and there’s a really great jetted bathtub!!! I would recommend this place for families with young children because they have horses, goats and ducks. Next trip I will check out the fire pit in the woods! Nice, relaxing stay! It would have been nice to have more separation from the owners home and dogs. Thanks for sharing your home! Good overall!

The owners were more than willing to show us around and meet all their pets, aka, horses and goats. We fed them, brushed them, and walked the property with them, all while being entertained by Dave! Super fun place to stay, and the house was cozy and perfectly suitable for this type of location!

The owners live on the same property nearby and were friendly and easy to reach. We often saw their horses out our windows, but the horses made no noise and were no problem. Full kitchen and washer/dryer.

Clean, country living. Host was fantastic, very pleasant and informative. House was very clean and had all amenities needed. If we ever vacation in Grand Junction again, this is the place we will definitely stay. EXCEPTIONAL!
